Hands down one of the best restaurants in High Point

I love the food so much that I keep going back ? it’s that boyfriend you just wish would do right! The wait time is crazy long, expect 40 minutes to an hour wait. Dine in or carry out. Get everything at one time because if you add to your order whatever it was is gonna take 40 minutes to an hour too ?. They either don’t stock well or choose not to carry a lot because they always going to be out of half the menu 2 hours after opening. The ladies at the counter can get real nasty attitudes too so just smile and keep it short and moving. If nothing else you won’t be disappointed by the food so maybe with these expectations you won’t be surprised.

I decided to try this place after seeing it on Google maps-restaurants. I ordered crocker and shrimp with mac and cheese, yams, and potato salad. I chose the sweet potato cornbread. It was all delicious. The crocker was fried perfect. The breading was crunchy. The potato salad was sweet but not too sweet. The sweet potato cornbread muffin with yams on top was a very pleasant surprise. It was my first time having it. Next time, I will call my order in or dine in. I highly recommend Harbor One. Forgot to take pictures. I was hungry.
Second time going. It was very good as well. I had whiting fish, potato salad, mac & cheese, yams, and cornbread. Everything was do good. I prefer the crocker because I like bony fish. This time I remembered to take pictures.
Food is good but they never answer phones on Sunday so you don't know what is on the menu because they are not consistent. It takes forever when you can't place order in advanced

Food was okay it's a crossover between soul food and seafood I believe the soul food is better than seafood my personal thoughts. The place was very busy they was in there doing the best that they could keeping up with all the demands.

Harbor One is a hidden gem in downtown High Point! We recently enjoyed the ultimate platter, which was more than enough for two people. The whiting was perfectly cooked, and the other seafood items were equally delicious. The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. If you're looking for a great seafood meal, I highly recommend giving Harbor One a try!

Can’t get ahold of anyone on the phone to place a pickup order. Went in to try it out for the first time and placed my order in person, was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait which is fine. Ended up waiting almost an hour with no explanation of what was doing on. Place wasn’t really busy. Food is better than average, but pretty expensive for what it is.

I’m only mad they are not open enough. I only come when I’m in the area because I live in thomasville. Like right now I googled to see if they were open sadly they are closed. So I’ll wait alllll the way til next week lol because that’s how guuuud the food is !!! I try to make it through everything on the menu but I can’t get past the fish & shrimp plater OOOOOHMGGGG YALL :)))) it’s delicious. This is the best home cooked soul food in the area hands down.
