It's more than just an ice-cream shop as it turns out they have a full menu

YUMMY 😋 😋 😋

Bean and Bacon soup is fantastic, but avoid the Reuben. The corned beef is like dog food. Chopped up, burnt with little to no sauer kraut. I have yet to find a restaurant in NC that serves a decent NY Reuben.

LOVE THE ICE CREAM. Only complaint is that I used to love they TUNA SALAD Sandwiches, but they just stopped really toasting the bread. EVEN IF I ASKED TO REALLY toast it, the sammy was mushy. ANYHOO, we like it and we do the QUART CLUB thing, for ICE

The place didn’t feel clean, with noticeable odors coming from the bathroom and a fish-like smell from the kitchen. This made the atmosphere uncomfortable and uninviting.

The service was also disappointing. When I asked the hostess a simple question about how to get our ice cream, she responded curtly, saying she wasn’t a waitress and that I needed to go sit down. Her attitude felt unprofessional and unwelcoming, which ultimately led us to leave without trying the food. I hope the management can improve both cleanliness and customer service moving forward.

Well no one was there when we walked in had to stand there bc they was all in the back playing around and when we got are food the whole time we got stared at. They wasted a bunch of straw's blowing the paper at each other and when i finally got my banana split heck it was about melted .

Always a great choice for something basic, like a sandwich and soup. Never crowded and very reasonable. And don't forget to try their ice cream. They have a junior Sunday that's the perfect size.

We only go for ice cream Sundays. They are ok. They use Hershey brand ice cream. Service is hit or miss. It’s a bit dated styling. We have never had the food. But the senior citizens are always packed in there.

I haven't eaten here since I was a little girl. My grandmother used to treat me when she would make her postal runs for my grandfathers optical business. I was impressed with the menu. (Alot of options) I settled for the steak n cheese potato w/mushrooms. I failed to ask for the onions n peppers be added. (My fault) My husband had the Club sandwich n Fries. It looked amazing. (Took 1/2 home) My mother in law had the Bean n Bacon soup. Our server (Kari) which also happens to be my niece did an excellent job! I was impressed with her service and skills. (1st time customer)
