I love coming here to get ice cream! It's the taste of old fashioned ice cream I grew up on.
Love this cozy spot from yester year. Always visit for the memories and great ice cream

Nostalgic
Icecream is great. been going there for 40 years off and on..Bathrooms are nasty, place is getting run down, service is great. ordered a grilled cheese. all they did was toast bread and slap a peice of Kraft singles on it. It sucked...Icecream is good.
This location has explicity stated they do not support or want anything to do with High Point University
The place is filthy nasty. Looking at a dirty floor and walls while I’m trying to eat does not work for me. Also, my husband got a chicken salad sandwich with barely any chicken on it. He left hungry. Ice cream tastes old. Enter at your own risk.
This Restaurant is vintage but awsome place, and they have NO sugar ice cream!
Good place for ice cream and food
We go to Mayberry every now and then for a sandwich or some ice cream. We generally enjoy it. Yesterday, we went again and I ordered my usual Steak&Cheese Sub. My wife ordered the prime burger. I was completely disappointed about my sub. It had shrunk over time and it now the size of a Hotdog bun and steak meat was virtually non-existent. I ate the last 1/3 of my wife's burger and as still had more meat than my steak&cheese sub. Can't get that sandwich there anymore.

Had the taste for some Mayberry banana split I only live one minute from the restaurant one of them literally no toppings the ice cream melted I tried to call back and the guy who answered the phone just hung up the phone poor Customer Service people shouldn’t have to be treated like that I will never ever ever ever refer anyone to go to this place. The customer service sucks. I can’t save for all the employees there but for the one individual it really sucks.
Just love this place
Food was not as expected. Had a hot dogs which was small but tasted OK. Ice cream really had no flavor. Was expecting more.
Nice environment
Perfect for a hot Summer afternoon cool off. I had Moose tracks and my boyfriend had the banana pudding ice cream. Delicious 😋
