My sister and I stopped there to pick up some dinner following a HPU basketball game. We planned to get the oxtail dinner but they had run out and it was getting near closing time so they were not going to prepare more. However, we ordered the beef shanks dinner instead. It included peas & rice, cabbage and plantains. It was delicious and they were generous with the beef shank. I've been to Jamaica so I know how it is suppose to taste, The food was authentic. The food is "A1" and the customer service is top-tier, with a welcoming atmosphere and well-packaged meals. The pineapple ginger juice and lemonade are popular choices. Customers have praised the jerk chicken for its perfect flavor. The homemade pineapple ginger drink is described as "out of this world," and the oxtails are flavorful and thin, complemented by tasty rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains. The beet & ginger juice is surprisingly good. The environment is calm and kid-friendly, with an outdoor patio ideal for families. The lady out front is super sweet. The food was delicious, and the owners are from New York, bringing a familiar taste of home. Ordering is convenient through the tablet. The jerk chicken and the sides with it were loved. Decent portions for the meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and they got their food very quickly. Definitely coming back.
