We used Rosa Maes Catering for our wedding which was a few days ago. I am going to have to give it 2.5/5 stars for a few reasons. I will start off by saying that the food was good & most the people who attended the wedding, and were actually able to finish their meal, enjoyed it completely. We received numerous texts saying that it was delicious, but I am unable to leave a 5 star review. I had confirmed via email weeks before the wedding that all leftover food would be boxed for me in styrofoam boxes and that it would be able to be taken home for after the wedding which sounded great. Unfortunately, I believe we received only 1 or 2 extra to-go boxes after the wedding was over which is impossible. We had originally prepared for 125 people to attend the wedding and have roughly 85 people come and enjoy the night. Not only should there have easily been plenty of extra food that was leftover to take home, which was not given to us, everyone that I spoke to about the food informed me that the food was taken before they were able to even get a second plate which there should have been plenty of food for everyone to eat. With the food being taken EXTREMELY EARLY & having 40 extra portions of food, one would only assume that my guests ate the extra food(which was not even possible) or we would have a great deal of food to take home. Neither of these occurred. Having an additional 40 extra plates should have meant that roughly half of our family and friends should of had to have had seconds or even possibly thirds depending on how much people ate. Another issue that concerned people who attended my wedding, to include my wife and I; is that as people were eating, talking with family and friends, and using the restroom, their food was taken off of the table before they were able to finish their plates. Shortly, after everyone received their plates, the catering company took the food off of the buffet with no opportunity for anyone to get seconds that I spoke with. After spending almost $4,500 on food I would've only assumed that the food would have been left out for at least some time for people to enjoy it and indulge in it, yet that was not possible especially considering each plate cost roughly $34-$36.... As previously mentioned, the food was great for those were able to finish their meals but due to the aforementioned reasons I would only give the catering company 2.5 stars and would HIGHLY recommend speaking with other caterers, before booking with them.

J I wish you had reached out so we could figure out what went wrong. First of all I didnt have a wedding in November for 125 guest. I had several for 100 guest which makes since if you had 85 show up. We always have plenty of food for your guest. If you had 85 guest, lets then figure on how many of your vendors ate. That would only get you to about 90 servings. Then lets say you had 5 guest that went back for seconds which is typical if there was still food available. And you mentioned we did pack up boxes for you and your groom so I would say we were dead on the 100 that you paid for. I do wish you would have reached out so I could explain this to you so you would have a better understanding on what actually took place. We had a great experience booking Rosa Mae's for our wedding. They took our ideas for theme and table decorations, and made them reality. Mary was responsive with questions leading up to the wedding and Beth helped us lock down our vision during final consult. The food and service day of were excellent, they made sure that we were served first and able to enjoy some of the food! We felt very well taken care of and it was a great peace of mind knowing that our guests were in good hands.

They did an amazing job and everything was fantastic. Above and beyond my expectations. The cake and cupcakes were absolutely to die for. The staff were some of the hardest workers I have seen. The bartender was my favorite and kept a drink in my freshly married hand all night! We got a lot of compliments on how nice everything was. I would highly recommend them for your next event.

I am so glad we chose Rosa Mae's for catering our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Castle McCulloch! The food was just as amazing as when we did our tasting and it was a huge relief that they also provided the table linens, decor, china table settings, glasses, and drinks. The staff were all very kind and professional. The carving station we had at both events was a nice added touch to the castle! The only things that could have been better were the punch fountain broke and the punch was just placed in a large bowl (I am not sure most people knew what it was), the cake was not placed on a cake stand as discussed during the final consultation, and the cake was cut on the table by the owner instead of being taken into the kitchen and then served by the staff. Overall, Rosa Mae's was easy to work with and the food was delicious!
