Dawn runs an impressive ship for his relatively small cafe. Prices are amazing and the food is even better. It's hard to beat this place.My coworkers and I order breakfast from here every week. We call in the seven to nine person order, she jots it down in just a few seconds, and she has it ready for pickup by the time we arrive - all while helping other customers in the same speedy manner.
We did a quick search for breakfast as we were on our way from Winston to Charleston, SC. We found Dawn's Cafe on Yelp and it had great reviews with what sounded a lot of regular customers. So, we decided we would check it out. We arrived about 10:30am on a Friday. It is a small building with 5 seats at the counter, 4 booths and 4 tables. My wife and I have eaten at Dawn's Cafe twice so far and we plan on eating there many more times. This place is a hidden gem. The service is fantastic and the food is great. Today, I got barbecue and I will have to say, it was the best BBQ I have ever eaten.
