I have went there before before they moved to their new place. And they would treat the men better than they do women. I hope everything is changed over there.

Before they moved to their new place are power went out me and my mother was without power in our home because of the snow storm we went to the mission where they used to be and there was a lady there talking to me and she asked me how I was doing and I said and I told her that we wasn't doing good cuz we were without power so she gave us a bowl of fruit and the lady that owns the mission send a man out there gave us two plates of food and told us to never come back 2 me and my mother this lady is very awful in so many ways but I was glad not to eat there anymore because that food was making me sick that food was mold the next day she wanted to take all the good food to The men's mission because she cares about me and more than she does women it is sad someone needs to pray for her cuz she treats me I'm better than she does women that's okay because God is always watching you

I used to help some at the Southside Mission. The people there are friendly and Christlike but not pushy or rude. They treat everybody with the love of Jesus. There were a few times we ate while helping and the food they serve most days is better than most people eat at fancy restaurants.
