Not fine dining, more like a diner. Food for the money is outstanding and the service is excellent. Ordered the French dip panini. Found my new favorite lunch item. Now we have to get there and try the breakfast!
I had a craving for bananas foster pancakes, and The PepperMill Café was one of the few places in town that offered it. I was hoping for a passable rendition thereof and little else, but The PepperMill Café exceeded expectations. While not much to look at inside or out, the restaurant is deceptively spacious. Food was delicious, our waitress was very helpful. They have a lot to choose from. We came here on the way to Winston Salem. The staff clearly have a lot of returning customers because most of them addressed the customer by name. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the waitress suggested that I get the cream cheese butter and caramel. So. Good. So glad we stopped!!
