Ah Sumela.....what can you say about a place that gets it right EVERY time? Food, service and the owner Mehmet always has a hand shake and smile. Our server Cody is always friendly and attentive. She knows our order as soon as we walk in. Our favorite place. Well done.

We have been eating at Sumela's for years and have gotten to know Matt well. He is a gracious and friendly host. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

The food and service was amazing. Would have given the atmosphere a 5, but the air conditioner wasn't working whenever I visited so we ate outside. But other than that I'll be back!

Excellent food. I had the falafel wrap with pasta salad, and my wife had the gyro with piyaz. The falafel was crispy and flavorful, but it was overshadowed by the rest of the wrap, which had a fresh-seeming thick pita, lots of tzatziki, and lettuce and tomato. I’d probably have the falafel as an appetizer next time so it could stand alone. The pasta salad was simple but enjoyable: just well-cooked pasta (al dente, not the gooey floppy stuff you get some places) in a vinaigrette. The gyro was excellent, says the Mrs., and the piyaz was a hit. The staff (one friendly kid manning the register and all the tables) was attentive without hovering. We’ll definitely be back.
