“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Lunch Experience at Prime in Highlands! Our lunch at Primary in Highlands, NC, was simply outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the host and restaurant manager, which set the tone for a wonderful meal. We started with perfectly cooked Oysters Rockefeller, followed by a fresh and flavorful green salad. My husband had the chimichurri marinated chicken sandwich, which was the special of the day, while I opted for the 14-ounce New York strip. Although I couldn’t finish the entire steak, it was perfect for sharing, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The service was impeccable, attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere made for a lovely midday meal. We topped off the experience with a delicious slice of carrot cake, which was the perfect sweet ending. If you’re looking for an exceptional lunch in downtown Highlands, I highly recommend Primary for its fantastic food, atmosphere, and top-notch service“

“Me and 2 of my girlfriends went there this past weekend, we were the first in line so we were first to be seated, we chose the bar as not to take a larger table and we were treated very rude by the female bartender. Since it was my first time, I asked if they had a specific beverage and was rudely told “ what’s on the board”, I couldn’t even see the board. She proceeded to wait on everyone else that was seated after us, delivering their drink orders and food while never coming back to take our food or drink order, even though I tried several times to get her attention, after about 30 minutes one of the gentlemen working realized, I guess, that I was trying to signal her and he took our order. I haven’t say it was the best burger Ive ever eaten and hope to go back the next time I am there, but hopefully we will get a different server! She also made a mistake when making out our checks and I thought she was very rude.“

“Stopped in for a late lunch and had a great time, though we had to wait a bit for a table. In the meantime, we did get a seat and were able to enjoy a cocktail. Great vintage vibe in the main part of the dining room. All of our meals were good, the kids really got a kick out of the mini (room service style) ketchup bottles. The hotel has their own branded gin they serve, which after lunch we went to the local ABC liquor store to pick up. Great Lunch!“
