Had a very enjoyable stay at the Highlander Mountain House. It is very well decorated and quite cozy. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linens. A place I will definitely return to in the future.
We have been fairly regular customers at the Grouse, and have always loved it. The big fireplace open to both the dining room (with couches and chairs to sit at) as well as the lobby reading area is a VERY big plus for us. The food is great, and they frequently have live music. We are going there again tonight!
Food was extremely bland and the risotto was hard. Not a good experience!
