Fun and lively atmosphere! Friendly staff and very attentive. Great cocktails and wine list. Everything we had was delicious… oyster special, country fried beef tenderloin (so good!), chicken sandwich for lunch and ribeye for dinner. Beignets for brunch! (We ate here a few times during our visit! Great portions! Always a favorite!

The restaurant was really nice. But they had a large party there. So over half of the restaurant was like a bar. I love bars, but not all over a fine dining area. People were really loud and standing everywhere.
The service was great to start with. Then our server disappeared. My wife had to flag her down to get the bill.
Overall, the food was great but pricey, the service was great until it wasn't, and it was very loud.
Not a great first impression to be sure. The manager did come over and appologize for the noise. But obviously there was nothing he wanted to do about it. Money was being spent. I'm sure their tab was huge.
I suspect this was a one-off. But just the same. We went out for a really nice dinner experience. We didn't get it.

We dined on a recent Saturday for brunch. Matt took care of us- he is the bar manager. Super easy to talk with and took great care of us. Everything we ate was delicious (truffle fries, broiled oysters, deviled eggs, the burger, tuna tower and the French onion soup). Approachable wine list. Awesome vibe and decor and a playlist I am still trying to recreate. We love Primary - it's just a little bit pricey for the location and at lunchtime.
