Recently visited the newly reopened House at Gatewood and couldn’t have been more pleased. Love the atmosphere, but the food was amazing! We had a good mix of things and everything was on point. Peel & eat shrimp, pimento cheese dip, burgers, salmon. Definitely adding them to our restaurant rotation for dinner! Thanks Ron, you’re the best!
SO excited about the summer line up of events we have to offer our community!!! See you all there for good food, amazing music and many memories to be made with everyone!!
BEWARE, FUTURE BRIDES! I usually don't write reviews, but I want to inform others about The House at Gatewood's unprofessional and insensitive owners.
Earlier last year, I met the owners, Jen and Ron, to discuss having my dream wedding at their restaurant in December. The House at Gatewood offers excellent food, including melt-in-your-mouth pork barbecue and rich mac and cheese with penne pasta. Visitors appreciate the unique layout, ample parking, and renovated space. Although it is not a traditional restaurant, it is still worth a visit for its delicious food and community events. The famous pork and beans have even converted those who don't typically enjoy beans. Guests look forward to the summer lineup of events and creating memories with great food and music.
