Food was mediocre, to say the least. When served our food, we were given it to pass to the person who ordered it, instead of giving it directly to that person. Place was not busy and yet service was on. Because we had a party of 8, 20% gratuity was auto applied instead of standard 16 or 18%.
SIMPLY AMAZING! Coming from an actual chef I can’t recommend this place enough! Food was PERFECT and the service *chefs kiss* (specifically our girl Sarah)! Come here you won’t be disappointed!
Ate here last night for dinner. Absolutely disgusting. I ordered the scallops, blackened with grilled mac and cheese the scallops were so over seasoned I couldn't eat them and the quality of food was like it came from Walmart. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos and got a 6" blonde hair in his. My family is easy-going and not hard to please and not a single person at the table (9 of us) finished their meals or appetizers. Dock House Seafood & More offers a phenomenal dining experience with a beautiful view and amazing sunsets. The waiting staff are efficient, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. The food is consistent and generally very very tasty, cooked to perfection. Try the unique seafood pit pie or the incredible Red Drum fish special. The kids absolutely love their Calabash shrimp and the rum punch is excellent. The atmosphere is just what you expect while vacationing at the beach, providing a very beachy experience. Not terribly expensive for the quality of seafood you get, Dock House Seafood & More is a great spot to try, especially for those looking for a beachside meal at Holden Beach.
