The food was very good! We've been to a number of hibachi and sushi places in the area and this one was my favorite for takeout. The sushi alongside the hibachi was also very delicious and flavorful. Service was possibly understaffed so things took a bit longer than estimated but I did not mind because everything else was perfect and the staff was kind.
We had four sushi rolls and they all tasted the same, and it wasn't good...we usually kill four rolls and we couldn't finish these. It was weird, everything just tasted pretty bleh. The apps were tiny, four baby shrimps lol.
Soda machine still broken (saw someone post about this.)

Portions are small, price is high (considering how much they give you). Service is awful, slow, out of half their items. Sushi line backed up, salad was just lettuce and a heaping pile of ranch. Soda machine broken...just all around booty. Highly do not recommend.

I was hoping for a better overall experience since Kobe comes with a reputation for quality food and atmosphere from where I am from. Unfortunately m, their soda machine was broken so they only had water and tea available. Also, they were out of filet for lunch so I settled on the strip steak instead along with chicken. The food was bland, rice was barely cooked and lacked flavor and there was hardly any sauce at all on my meat and vegetables. I asked for some warm teriyaki sauce for my flavorless rice and was given a small cup that was barely room temperature. The waiter was a nice polite young man who did his job well. Only one other customer was in there when I arrived and only one other came in after. It was relatively quiet besides the TV which was on a news channel.

Never again! Placed an online order at 7:20 pm. Was supposed to be ready at 8:20 pm. I thought this was a little long for a four roll sushi order but I extended grace due to the day, Valentine’s Day. Order was not ready until 9 PM. No, I’m sorry only it’s been a rough day. Stop taking orders if it’s a rough day. Sushi Dan Fuquay will be getting my business from now on.
AMAZING 100/10 place! For an AYCE sushi place, the food is top tier, service is wonderful, atmosphere is amazing, and you can’t beat the price! This has become my new go to restaurant! I had sushi and miso soup- it was so good! My friend got shrimp and steak hibachi (along with other items from the AYCE menu)- and the portions were generous. Come with an empty stomach and be prepared for an amazing experience!

Not hibachi, sauce was off and rice was very bland. No flavor had to add lots of soy sauce to give any kind of flavor. Would not recommend for anyone who likes hibachi!
