Mama Bird's Ice Cream

Mama birds provided the dessert for our wedding this spring, and it was incredible. All of our guests said they absolutely loved it! It was such a great addition to our reception! They were incredibly easy to work with an even made some custom flavors for us. We went with Pistachio cheesecake for one.. 🤤 Unreal!! If you are thinking about using Mama birds for your event dessert, do it!!! Book them now. My only regret is not eating more of it on our wedding night!

I tried the chocolate peanut butter swirled ice cream and it was so rich and delicious. The peanut butter was a real peanut butter swirl and that really added to the richness. My daughter had white chocolate raspberry and she also loved hers.

Mama birds catered for our wedding and it was perfect. We didn’t want to go with cake and they had a variety of options for our guests to choose from. We would highly recommend them for any event especially during the summer days!

Mama Bird’s ice cream was the hit of the night! For a summer wedding, the sweet treat kept guests happy and helped them cool off. Mama Bird’s is great at communicating and even came to our final site visit to ensure all details were figured out before the wedding day itself. If you’re in search for a delicious dessert that is also a great photo opportunity, then look no further!

Loved the ice cream here, the flavours are unique and amazing.. ice creams are not too sweet, it’s a plus.. We love spending our family time here with the milks shakes and the ice cream here!

Never had a bad visit to Mama Birds. Easily the best ice cream in holly springs.

I love homemade treats and appreciate artisanship, but unfortunately this won't be in the rotation. The prices are high at $12 a pint, the service is mid at best (teens with attitudes), and the ice cream seems to have a lower fat content (it's more icey than creamy), and it's not even organic. Just feels pretty wild to go into a shop for 2 pints and spend $24+ on non-organic ice cream and then be asked to tip on top of that.

This place has the best flavors in the triangle!

Our family loves Mama Birds! Salted Crackamel is my personal favorite. Staff is always friendly and happy to let us try some samples to help us figure out which of their fun flavors we want on any given trip.

I've been going here for over 5 years since i moved to North Carolina. It's a wonderful mainstay establishment. My daughter swears by their chocolate ice cream and believes it is the best. I would have given 5 stars except they changed the way they offer flavors recently. They used to always have freshly swapped flavors so if you went back the next week, you'd have your vanilla and chocolate but a whole new selection of unique concoctions of flavors from the previous week. Now, it seems they keep the same flavors and same unique concoctions for weeks at a time or maybe even seasons and then they swap out those unique flavors. This is disappointing.

Lastly, I believe they used to make the ice cream on site but they have had broken freezers for a long time now which does not seem like it will be resolved and you see them getting deliveries of ice cream from an off site location where it is made.

Love their ice cream and cones! Truly the best ice cream! Extremely disappointed there is no changing table for children though, especially when it is so family friendly otherwise… at least a dresser would be good… something… sad to say we won’t be making nearly as many visits…
