Not impressed. They use tea press pots (think french press for coffee) which means by the time I'm ready for my second cup of tea its gone bitter. The flavors of the food were strange and I found there were only three items from the entire service I enjoyed (I tried but did not finish what I could given my dietary restrictions and left the rest for other people in my party). I have been to tea service other places and had a much better experience. I would not recommend this place, and will not return.
Vegetarian options: They rely heavily on egg for their vegetarian options. I expect the reliance on dairy, I was not prepared for how many egg dishes there were.

Had a special outing with family planned, and made repeated requests to move to a better table to accommodate our party, and staff was annoyed by our request, and just ignored it altogether. Have had nice experiences here in the past, and was very excited to share it with our extended family during the holidays and instead was left apologizing for the sub-par hospitality to say the least. Such a bummer.
Kid-friendliness: 👎👎

Went tonight and the only option for dinner was a prefixed $35 meal. It was either pork or a turkey pot pie. No other choices. We ended up getting the collard green appetizer and it came with 10
Fritos chips ( we counted). Really pricy for the quantity of food. Service was slow, didn’t seem like they had a lot of staff.
This place is very cute inside but we were seated outside where there is a very strong sewage smell. The service was slow and I probably wouldn’t come back again unless its with only one other person so we could be seated inside. The food was decent.

We went at 12:30 on a Friday, so we expected to have some wait. But the parking lot was a disaster with no spots and getting stuck waiting for people to come out so the people that surrounded me could take the spots and I could even move again added 10 minutes to my arrival time. We sat at the bar and one drink and a cheese melt (that the bacon was left off and was just ok, but SO small) ended up being $32 after tip. Just not worth all the fuss.
Parking: Plan to park across the street. It was a disaster in their lot and I didn’t know that ahead of time.

Made a reservation for 6 over the phone. They called and confirmed twice with me. We arrive there on time and they said they did not have room inside for us and that we could sit outdoors. It was December in the evening and none of the tables outside can accommodate 6 people
So I generally enjoy the food here, but they have no idea how to run a restaurant. I was just turned away because they don't have high chairs. What restaurant seriously doesn't have a single high chair? They have done other very questionable things too. I have ran restaurants for 14 years and have been in food service my whole life.
I absolutely love the Pimento Tea Room! I always have such a hard time deciding what to eat because everything is always so good. I've had my birthday dinner here for the last three years and I think I'll have to keep up the tradition because the food keeps getting better and the staff is always so sweet. On top of everything, you can't beat the quirky decor, it's a great photo spot.
Dietary restrictions: While the gluten free scones are more expensive, they were a great option for my friend with celiac.

As we are Holly Springs residents, my daughter took me out for a birthday lunch to PTR. I have wanted to go there for quite a long time. The inside of the restaurant was very quaint kitschy especially the framed pictures of Dolly Parton on the mantle. I ordered chicken salad and ‘homemade lemonade’. My daughter ordered the brisket on flatbread which consisted of cubed pieces of brisket, small pieces of scattered blue cheese, arugula, and a pepper jelly drizzled on top. We cut them in half so we each could share. The flatbread was really hard and the brisket was big cubes. It appeared that this was kinda thrown together. Was not a nice soft melded sandwich. The chicken salad was quite different in flavor…not bad but different. Did not taste any of the grilled onions it was supposed to have. Would had made it a lil tastier. Sorry to say the lemonade was not from scratch… I know simple homemade lemonade. Lemons, sugar and water. Not sure what mix this was from. The service was excellent and the ambience was on spot. We brought home some Brunswick stew for hubby.. I wanted so bad to like the food but it was just not that flavorful. Will not be returning anytime soon. The bill was $63 with tip. Would gladly felt good about paying this much if the food was good, but I have to say it was subpar.

Everytime I’m in NC I need to come here. The scones and butter flight paired with the tea is perfection

Awesome little quirky place nestled in the heart of Holly Springs, of all places. The chef is exceptionally creative with regards to using local produce in season and offering a wide variety of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. The presentation and flavor profiles of all the dishes I had were spot on. I tried the Turtle Bean soup, GF Vegan scone with flavored house made vegan cinnamon brown butter, Summer Vegetable Curry and the special Raspberry Brownie with vegan whipped cream and caramel sauce. For the love of all that is holy, this is one of the best meals I've had out in a LONG time! So good! The service from our server and everyone bringing drinks and food was also wonderful. Very friendly and inviting and extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere is certainly a bit interesting to say the least. But, it's not boring! If you haven't checked this place out, it's a must in my book!
I sent a beautiful email regarding our last visit. No response whatsoever. I am not happy about that. Now I do not recall the servers name.
Our server went above and beyond and she had no idea the medical situation of my friend.
The server never rolled her eyes or made facials she did her job with grace, compassion and empathy and above all kindness.
That was more than likely our last meal together ever. The experience will be a great memory I shall have long after my beautiful friend is gone.
Please make sure you keep servers like the one we had. Check your email and you will know.
The first time we went here I never wanted to come back due to lack of service. My friend wanted to try again and so we did and beyond excellent.
Thank you.

I love this place! Love it for a date night. I even brought my four year old girl here and they were super accommodating even though the menu is not necessarily full of kid food items they were able to come up with some things that she wanted to eat.

Oh man!! So tasty I gotta say. They mix and match ingredients you would never expect to go together to create little masterpieces! Plus the menu is changing every month so you already know the ingredients they do use will be the freshest and most in season.
Jessica and Cam were also super awesome to talk to behind the bar!! Loved the DIRT coffee + tea fusion ?? also the FIGGY smalls cocktails was beyond tasty with the luxardo cherry + fig bourbon… 10/10!!
