“It’s FANTASTIC BBQ, great sweet tea, and some of the best hushpuppies out there, but one glaring problem and a couple other smaller ones are more than worth taking back a star or two.The glaring problem is that this is the smallest BBQ sandwich you’ve ever seen. As in, smaller than the palm of your hand! I didn’t even know there was a company out there that made buns this small, so the folks at Morris BBQ must’ve specifically gone looking for “how to make the world’s smallest BBQ sandwich” on purpose. The portion size is honestly insulting. It’s so small it would still be insulting even if the price was cut in half.A slightly smaller issue is the tipping screen at the takeout window if you use a credit card. What part of handing a bag through a door could possibly entitle someone with the audacity to ask for a tip?The smallest issue is that the televisions detract from the vibe of the place - folks come here to eat BBQ at a shack on the side of the road that’s been around since the early 30s… and absolutely nothing about that says “television, please”.Overall it’s great BBQ and great people, but it’s simply not worth making an effort to come back unless the portion sizes triple or more at the VERY least. The way that it is now, a toddler with an Easy Bake Oven could make you a better meal - it doesn’t matter how good the food is or how nice the people that make it are if you’ve traveled all the way out here just to get fed 3 half-bites that you carry out yourself after being asked for a tip.…and for the record, I’m only a normal guy just over 6’ tall that weighs well under 200lbs. A fat person with an appetite would probably throw a fit if they saw the cupcake-size sandwiches at Morris.”
“This was my first visit and soon as I walked in I got seated and received fast service. My waiter was friendly and got our drinks and food out pretty fast & hot. Highly recommendedParking: Easy parking. Enough for everyone.”
“Field trip experience. Service was nice, ice cream was tasty. I had been before and bought one of the jams. I went straight back over to that section to get some more, the jams are delicious.”
“Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Whenever I am in the area, this will definitely be my go to place! Tried a biscuit bomb, creamy cheese grits, and the butter pecan cake as treat for later! Loved every bite!”

“Really good food! We met friends half way between our house and Raleigh at this place.... My husband had the fried shrimp and french fries. He said it was very good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend and I shared the Rangoon, eggrolls, onion rings, and grilled shrimp and everything was awesome.. her husband had the catfish and french fries and it was a very good serving size and he said it was very good!!!! The owners were very accommodating, letting us sit and chat for over an hour!!! if it was closer we would definitely go back because I would really want to try their Boils!!!! Resource several people get them, and they were looking and smelling very good!!!!”
“Finally!!!!I have been trying to catch this place for the longest, and they did NOT disappoint. Authentic Jamaican cuisine at its finest and the portions were very generous. The cabbage is to KiLL for!!! The homemade Sorrell was awesome and they have 1/2 gallon jugs of it ? I highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be back!!!”
“Great food and plenty of it. Very busy at lunch but the quality of food is always good. Great take out place but not so much to have a big meal with family. Space is limited.”
“Great service. Food isn't quite as good as some places in nearby towns. But it's Snow Hill; just that we even have a Chinese Restaurant is reason to be happy.”
“This is a great place to take kids for a quick treat! They have so many toppings that it's hard to choose!Dietary restrictions: They have no sugar added flavors that are just as delicious as the regular. They also have fruit and nut options for toppings.Kid-friendliness: It's very kid friendly and they offer kids a cup when you walk in. (The kid's size cup is kids only.)”
“If i want a sub, im going to Aggies in Maury NC. They have the absolute best subs in that ive eaten. I order and go get a turkey from them 5-6 times a month. Always fresh and very tasty. I live roughly 14 miles away from them, but its always worth the time and drive.”
“Bonus spins is a good place to go to try an make some extra cash best to go on a day they are running some sort of promo, on Monday if you put$20- on you get 15 extra for free”
“Beautiful atmosphere, pleasant company. Food was great: 3 eggs and 2 sausage, delicious.Lost power in the morning, needed breakfast. Day before Easter and everywhere else is closed. Rouse's was the fix. A+”
“Great atmosphere and the food is always amazing. Love eating with my family every Sunday at Rose's Kitchen. If you want good home cooked country food this is the place to go to.”
“I’ve been about 5x now, the food is cooked after you order and I love that!!! I live about 10 minutes away from this place and everytime I get home my food is still HOT… nice atmosphere. Really good burgers and fried okra!”
“I haven't been to a taco truck in a while, but i have to say that these were some of the best tacos that I've had in a good minute.Everything was cooked great. The marinated pork and chorizo tacos were magically delicious.”
“I love them always sweet and polite. I always have to have a slush everyday more than once to be exact. My favorite is crybaby I don’t even have to tell them what I want when I go get it they already be fixing it when they see me pulling up I highly recommend ?”
“Came here after church one week to visit with some friends. Great food, service was slower than we expected but the place was busy when we came. Not sure if it was a manning issue.”
“Fast tables, great service, and by far the coldest beer in town. You can quote me on that indeed. Not very busy but the patrons that do go there on the regular are the salt of the earth. Their hours aren't correct because it's the bartenders discretion on what time is closing time based on occupancy. Get there early! Always closed on Sundays. Cheers!”
“Everything about Smith's is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. The spare ribs are fall off the bone tender, and the shrimp is the best around. The other food is yummy as well. All the employees are sweet and treat you with that good ol southern hospitality.”
“I’m originally from New York, so finding this place was a bit of a blessing. Gave them a shot and ordered a pizza for take out. Decently priced, and it was still piping hot whenever I walked through the door. Definitely recommend if you’re needing something quick and delicious.”
“Ordered wraps/subs bundles for a business lunch. Order was ready on time. Service was great. Food was great. Lots of condiments. Thanked me for my business. Will definitely do this again.”
“No inside dining at the time I was there but the food was excellent, fresh, and prepared quickly. The staff was friendly and very helpful to visitors in town such as myself. Thumbs up!”
“Since Gage has taken over management my husband and I have seen the best improvement. The food quality is top notch and the staff goes above and beyond. Over the years we’ve had an average experience going out to eat here but it was nothing special. Now we find ourselves wanting to make this our usual spot and we will be going back very soon.”
“The staff is great from the hostess/ cashier to the sub makers. This is one dining spot where I'm always greeted with a smile! The seating/dining area is in need of an upgrade but that is no reflection on the staff.”
“The Lady that took my order was very helpful to me, very nice and the sweet and sour chicken was very good. I will go back to try different things. I really appreciate great service. Thank ”
“Had Tai food here and Turkey sub. Both were good. Wanted more heat (spicy) on the Tai other than that it was good. Never had pizza here but was told that it's good ?”
“This location is a quaint little spot, easy to miss the yellow sign outside if you don't know where to look.I receive request for deliveries from this location quite often, especially when the time reaches closer to the afternoon. To my knowledge, there are not a whole lot of people who work at this establishment, so there's little surprise that the waiting time is... extensive. I leave it up to you, the reader, if whether or not longer-than-normal waiting times is a deal-breaker. I understand if not everyone is game to wait, at least, 10 minutes for food. One customer told me that they had called ahead, and at time of writing was over an hour ago.To the customer, I recommend they call ahead as soon as possible to make up for the extensive waiting time. To management, I suggest they hire one or two more people, at least for the afternoon. The parking lot is sizeable for the small establishment, but can be easy to miss since it's in the back.I will say that the two ladies who I have seen are sweet and really nice. At time of writing, I've had no trouble with them personally. Therefore, I conclude that the service is just fine. The atmosphere, however, is up for debate. I personally have no trouble with it, but I do understand if the lack of lighting in the area can be off-putting for some people.I had the pleasure of finally trying some of the food at this establishment: namely, the #2 (3 slices of pizza, fries, and sweet tea). Personally, I wouldn't say their stuff is top-tier. As someone else once put it (when I asked for their opinion on the matter), it's fine. Not great, but not bad either.”
“Love the food from the food truck! The tamales were a 10 out of 5 & love the conveince of the location. Literally 10mins. Away..will always recommend this great food..”
