Because of a glitch in City BBQ's website my order ended up in FLA instead of Huntersville. Three of the employees noticed I had been waiting too long in the pick-up spot and came out to check on me. We found my order in FLA, they had it transferred and filled within five minutes. Thanks Paul, Jaila and Paityn; you saved my day!

I went today June 16,2025 and I must say I was very disappointed. I havenāt been in a long time and it will be a long time before I go again. The service was good , but the only good thing I got was the cornbread. The pork belly burnt ends were not fresh, the brisket had no seasoning and the fried okra hardly had any breading. Really Really disappointed. Especially when I read the reviews of the food being so delicious. Not!

Very disappointing experience. Ordered for Curbside pickup, followed the instructions when I got there, and never saw an employee bring food out for anybody. Went inside after several minutes and it wasn't especially crowded. Waited for a moment to get noticed by an employee and was ignored. I started going through a bag on the counter and was still ignored. I saw on the receipt it was mine, so I continued. I noticed some items missing, but didn't have the time or patience to unwrap every single item for a dinner for seven. Was not noticed or greeted by an employee this entire time. Finally spoke up to get attention, got some items addressed and left. When I got home I realized several more items missing. Called the store and got no answer. I'm only giving 1 Star for Service so it looks like i didn't forget, but I'd give negative stars, if I could. Food was delicious, but the experience was ruined.

Thank you to the Huntersville location for their excellent customer service and great food. I placed an order for 3 large party packs to feed a large graduation party. Although I've eaten at a City Barbecue location before, needing such a large order I was nervous on how things would go. I was pleasantly surprised and beyond pleased with the experience. From the young lady who walked me through the ordering process on 5/21/25 and allowing me to sample the items that would make up the order to the day of pick up on 6/12/25 from the staff who prepared and packed the food with care and precision and who took the extra steps to help me carry the items to my car. The entire experience seamless and awesome! The food was great! Everything we needed was provided and it helped to make the party a success. Highly recommended! Thank you all. Your efforts are very appreciated!

I ordered through uber eats and paid 40 dollars for a small amount of food and the macaroni was so hard we couldnāt even eat itā¦ I will never order here again this is ridiculous. Iāve ate in this restaurant before and they give us more food if you eat in the restaurant which is not fair at all to customers who order online. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Love the tacos! Super flavorful with the slaw. The "Not A sloppy Joe" was equally good with the Chipotle peach sauce. I ordered the tacos without slaw, but for some reason the kitchen didn't get the message. However they remade them and delivered them to our table quickly.
