Poor management, there were individuals vaping over the food. On there phones, not paying attention to customers. It was a lot and that was enough for me to never visit another firehouse sub store again!

I visited Firehouse Subs at 9826 Gilead Rd, Ste C-102, Huntersville, NC 28078, on February 13, 2025, at 7:01 PM. My order details:

Medium Club on a Sub (wheat bread, no onion, no deli mustard, black olives, cucumber, no pickle spear)
Total: $12.79
After waiting for my order, I noticed that when it was finally handed to me, it was not placed in a bag. However, I personally witnessed a white male customer receive his order before mine, and his was placed in a bag without question.
When I asked about this, the manager told me that the owner specifically requested that to-go orders NOT be placed in bags. Yet, I clearly saw them bagging other customers’ food without hesitation. So, why was I treated differently?
If you expect fair and consistent service, you’ll have to request it.

Stopped coming to Firehouse over 10 years ago due to the favorite sub we get was bad fatty meat. Decided to give them a try again tonight and was disappointed again. Got a ham sub with lettuce, mayo, cucumbers, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Sub was smothered in mustard instead of mayo, no cucumbers, salt, pepper or oil and vinegar. My order was correct on the printed receipt but not in the bag and there was not a second look for correctness as they stated on their receipt. I couldn't eat it as it was soaked in mustard and very very disgusting. Guess I'm done for good with this place.

It is just another Firehouse but this one separated itself from the others by the staff. All 3 of these guys on duty this day were moving and getting it done. They were hard working, professional and quick. Thanks gentlemen I'm still in a leg cast and appreciated the great service!

Walked in around 1:30 in the afternoon, no one in line to order, I was told there was a 25 minute wait to take my order because they had a large call-in order. ? I drove to your restaurant and am standing in front of you, but you can't take my order? Ok. Jimmy John's it is then!

I ordered a sub online on 8/7/24 at 8:45am. The website allowed me to select pick up at 9am. I walked in the store at 9:00 and was rudely told by the male employee that they don't open until 10am. I said the app said you open at 9am. He said I was wrong and I would have to cancel my order however I ordered it. I said I ordered on your website. I have tried since 8/7/24 to get a refund. The email I recieve everytime says the store will contact me; I have not recieved any contact from this store. Everytime I cannot the store it rings and no one answers. I just want my money back. The customer service from Firehouse Subs stinks!!!

This is not seriously run restaurant. I’m frankly surprised corporate hasn’t gotten involved yet, though it’s surely only a matter of time.

Wife and I visited recently for take out. Staff was fine, not particularly engaging or friendly but they were fine. Place looked and felt dirty though. We’re fans of FHS, but if the front looks like it did, what does it look like behind the counter. ??♂️

2 employees at 12pm on a Sunday. They are telling people it’s a 15-20 minute hold and people are waking out. Cheap management, hire more for the lunch shift.
