First Watch

These people are the worst. My wife and her daughter ate there and got so much attitude from the waitstaff...It was disgusting. No idea what customer service is about. Just plain rude for no reason. Their waitress was Javani and she had a serious attitude. The other First Watch in Mooresville is excellent. Don't waste your time here.

The food is good when it’s hot! This location specifically has to work on its service.. I have ordered on 3 different occasions and every single time have had something incorrect with my order and food was not ready at the quoted time! Waiting almost 30-45 minutes after my quoted time is absolutely ridiculous! Makes me not want to come back.. :(

The food was as usually delicious with a beautiful presentation. We came for a brunch on Sunday. The wait was expected as any other Sunday. The kitchen was behind. Hostess informed us that the wait would be double of what she originally estimated. The waiter was apologetic and did his best to accommodate frustrated and hungry clients. Unfortunately, we got bare minimum service with a couple dismissive fly-bys. I have worked in service industry before and feel compassionate about the situation, yet also would have loved to have a better experience. Hope you will figure out staffing soon!

Wow. I can’t remember having a worse experience at a restaurant than I did this morning at this one. If fact, I will never eat at another First Watch. There are just too many options for a good breakfast to put up with bad food and horrible management.

We were sat within the wait time given but then sat and waited for almost 10 minutes before anyone spoke to us at our table. We waited for another 10 minutes to get water. Our food came out quickly but then we had to wait to get silverware. The experience wasn’t great even though the food was good. Our server was kind but everything was just very unorganized.

Review 2: Service continues to be mediocre. Everytime we come in, the servers are over booked. They can't possibly do a quality job having to cover several large tables across the restaurant. If you need a refill, a napkin, a jelly, you will have wait forever. You are better off doing without.

Yesterday I ate breakfast here. First, Khyra is an excellent waitress with a great memory. She deserves a promotion. However, I ate a stem from an avocado that was accidentally in my eggs. It hurt my teeth when I bit down & I almost swallowed it. I could have easily choked. The manager came to my table to apologize & said we will do better. However, that alone was not the greatest service. An apology & no charge for my breakfast would have been the appropriate customer service. Due to being charged for breakfast is the reason for the bad review. Unacceptable. See photo.
UPDATE: First Watch responded below & requested I contact them. I did & no response! They still charged my card!!! Totally unacceptable. People check your food here.

The food was very good. The mixed greens were a nice addition to the eggs benedict.

Great place great food, the wait times are very long and the checkout ticket system desperately needs QR codes so people can pay from their phone with Apple Pay or card for easy check out and leave, there is a long line to check out as well. Time is valuable

It was my first visit last week. Quite possibly one of the best breakfast I've had in quite a while. The roast beef sandwich I had was superlative not to mention the honey bacon side order that I truly enjoyed. What can I say? Great food, and very good service. Without a doubt I will be back. Keep up the amazing work.

Went for a birthday brunch. Best suggestion is to get the app and reserve your table because this place is very popular!!!
There were four of us in our party and we were seated very quickly since we reserved in advance.
All four ordered different dishes and all were delicious (I ordered the turkey burger and it was so good that I will definitely order again!!!)
As mentioned, the food was all so delicious but one dish mistakenly came with the wrong style of eggs. We didn’t complain because it was great regardless of the mixup but unsolicited a head wait staff came to our table to apologize for the mistake and offered to remake the dish. This kind of service and attention to detail is so rare nowadays and was greatly appreciated. We didn’t accept the offer and all left full and happy.
I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I was here the other day and it wasn't crowded and it took approximately 20 minutes for someone to ask me if I'd like something to drink. Then I ordered I asked for no tomatoes in my skillet and they were out of avocados. Since they were out of avocados I asked if they could be replaced with mushrooms. My skillet came to me with mushrooms and tomatoes even though I asked for no tomatoes. My toast was ice cold. There was no one around so I asked the host if he could get me some new toast. The second order of toast came and it was ice cold. Finally the host went and made me some fresh toast. I got my check and I was charged a dollar for the mushrooms. It did not make sense to me since they were out of avocados. Actually I told the manager and he took care of it so that was nice. But it had to be the The worst experience I've had in Huntersville. The Mooresville first watch seems like they have their act together much more. I was very disappointed because I've come here a lot and it seems like it's going a tad downhill.
