Let's start this review where it matters most with the line up of leadership that this amazing grocery store employs. Chris, Harrison and Erica are the epitome of leadership. They have an amazing staff of smiling faces and hardworking customer service associates. This store is always immaculate With its debris free aisles and well stocked shelves I was able to find everything that I came for. Everything is always front faced which makes it easier to find every item that I was in search of. And whenever I could not find an item a smiling face was always within earshot. Their staff of CSR's have often taken me to the aisle and the location of the item that I was having trouble locating. Now I live closer to the sunset road location but because of what appears to be a totally different system and culture of customer service. This will be where I shop for groceries from now on. What a reprieve from what can be a challenging experience at some other grocery store chains.

I come in here quite often and one day did a Weston union to pay my car payment. I sent $300. I lost my receipt but Carnax never received the payment. Now my money is just idk…. Lost in transaction. This payment was sent on Sept 16. It’s now September 25… food lion is of no assistance and the person who sent it is right here smh!

I like to shop early morning and for the past month self checkout is the only option. I don’t like self checkout as it’s not beneficial and one of the primary reasons that I don’t shop at Walmart! There used to be 1 register open at 7. This is specifically for food lions in Huntersville off Eastfield Rd.

Have to be careful of expired food. Do not purchase fresh veg or fruit there but the prices on the staples I get are great. Staff is nice too. Better than the other food lions close to me.

Employees are always blocking aisles and won't move to let us pass. Customer service is slow at self check out. This is every time I've stop at this location.
There was a terrible storm Monday and worker Karina really helped me out. She was thoughtful and professional. (But I still hate the self-checkout)

Every Food Lion I go to seems to have a black person's poster at the entrance. Why? usually looking ethnic with the afro hair, or black woman with natural hair or us divided in an interracial relationship. The malls do it, AT&T, Target stores put random pictures of black women all over the store, other department stores do it, CVS, at the entrance or on their websites as though it's some magic bullet to more sales or ratings. Please stop the exploitation. It's not that flattering and it's insulting to everyone else and just breeds resentment. Stop it.
