Great place to get your morning fix! Matcha tea was great! Muffins were good. Drip coffee was not bad. More flavor than a typical dark roast drip coffee. Coffee flavor for the cortado was great! I was not a fan of the milk quality. It was very watery with almost no foam. Cortado seemed to be a single shot so it was smaller than expected. They have an Eversys Cameo which means you get a very consistent drink no mater who is working! I liked the tiling as well.

Came in this morning about 8:30, ordered a iced pumpkin cheesecake latte and a croissant warmed up, both were delicious and a great start to my day! Barista’s were welcoming and very friendly, will be back whenever i’m in the area for sure!

The Saturday Sept 21 crew seems like a lazy and distracted bunch. The cafe had some good lines because of all the foot traffic, but the service team acted as if no customer needed to be in and out in a hurry. Staring at their phones, not communicating, and just being a bit aloof. But of course they ask for tips as if they deserved them. They can do better. Decent coffee and decent baked goods. But don’t stop here if in a hurry.

Horrible staff.
Internet doesn’t work and nobody cares.
Will never be back at this location.

Internet not working can happen.
The attitude of the staff was not acceptable.
Arrogant, telling us they aren't IT specialist, insisting that everything worked...while we tried with 5 different devices.

I was at this coffee shop last week and had a great experience. The staff is so helpful and friendly. I was able to bring my laptop and work for 5 hours while enjoying a yummy chai latte. Will definitely go back. Excellent customer service

This is a very nice coffee shop if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Starbucks. There's plenty of room sit down. The place is quiet and a good atmosphere. I saw people of laptops working or doing something. I saw small conversations going on without the loud noise level.

I really didn't want to write this review.I've been to Summit plenty of times over the past several years - probably since their inception - in fact, we used to buy Summit coffee in bulk for events years ago, and despite the poor quality of that coffee, this review will only pertain to this coffeeshop in Huntersville.Summit coffee has consistently provided boring, bland, and awful tasting coffee throughout every visit I've had to this coffeeshop. The espresso is overextracted and violently bitter, while the filter coffee is weak, tasting more of commodity-grade coffee with unsweetened cherry flavor added to it. I have never had a good cup of coffee from Summit.I get it though, the vibes are nice, it's a good place to hang out or study or work, I suppose. But I can do that many other places and enjoy much better coffee while doing so.Staff is generally friendly enough, but baristas and hosts rarely have a deep knowledge or understanding of the roasts they are serving. Summit seems more like Starbucks for people who hate corporatism than a real specialty coffeeshop.Summit straddles the line between being that interesting-looking coffeeshop families who don't know any better go to as a treat, and being a cultural brand that also tries to make and serve its own coffee. And I think that's where the issue lies: Summit is more concerned about upholding and presenting its brand, culture, and image than upholding standards and presenting a beautiful cup of coffee.Go somewhere else, or if you absolutely have to go to Summit, get tea.
