Once again a great breakfast. Cooked perfectly and delivered to table with a smile. Coffee cup kept full and hot. My son came along this time and is a fan. Extremely reasonable prices, indoor/outdoor seating, very homey comfortable setting.
10/10. Came in 2x’s within 2 weeks. Friday, came in around 12pm. Sat down and got my food in 5 minutes no exaggeration. Nice and hot. Hostess was nice, checked in not too often which wasn’t a problem because I had my face buried in my plate and she knew I was a happy camper. Went back Sunday with my mom, same exact experience. Great food. Great portions. Great experience.
I’ve never had food that terrible in my life. I ordered an American cheese omelet and I got a plain omelet with two slices of Kraft Cheese on top. Nothing was fresh, everything there came out of some sort of highly processed package. From the way it’s published, you would think it’s homey breakfast food.
This place checks all the boxes. It’s a charming place inside with friendly staff and excellent service. They have a varietal menu with great food, worth every penny. They also collect and reuse old coffee mugs; very clever and fun.
If your looking for a hearty breakfast, Egg Cafe will hit the spot. The food is beyond amazing. If you haven’t been there before, I strongly recommend giving them a shot as you will not be disappointed. This is one of my new favorite breakfast spots. The staff is very friendly. Haven’t had the pleasure to dine in yet but the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I will definitely become a regular.
Okay in my book. Can't beat the food for the price, but I'm just not a fan of big chunks of "breakfast potatoes." I grew up with home fries. Thin, crisp slices of potato with onion. I saw a picture of their home fries that look great, but the ones that came even after I asked for them to be well done were white as can be. The one egg omelet was good. And the coffee was good.
The ambiance, the food and of course the attendant lady was awesome, Highly recommend the place to start your day.
Good food, fast service. Ambience...very comfortable.
Its very tight between the bar area and table seating. Everyone gets bumped, and you end up bumping into peoples chairs, and doing your best to suck in your stomach before and after eating to squeeze through the isle.
Hubby and I LOVE the Egg Cafe! It's our go-to for Saturday/Sunday morning breakfast. The coffee is absolutely perfect! And your cup is never empty : ) We sometimes dine-in or do take-out, either way the service is superb and your food is always hot and the prices are more than reasonable. (FYI- The homefries here are always browned and crispy! Unlike the overpriced First Watch nextdoor!)

First impression cute farmhouse decorations. Quaint but a little small but ok.Why do you go to a restaurant? For the food and a treat vs making breakfast at home. Here have to say the food was just ok/meh.Ordered two eggs “over medium”, toast and two pancakes. Eggs were simply “over” in other words…super runny and cold. Toast was ok. Pancakes were super dense and loaded with cinnamon….nothing on menu notified you that cinnamon was the predominant ingredient in the pancakes….took the flavor to a place I did not find appealing. Portions were good.Ten customers in the restaurant and Five customers waiting in line to use facilities…not pleasant.Come back? Nah I will pass
If it was up to me I would give a 0 star, reason being my husband, brother and I went there for the first time and they had no courtesy what so ever. The girl that greeted us stated that there would be a wait, we stated is fine no problem. We saw a couple that was leaving and told her that we would take that table. As we waited for them to clean the table outside, behind us came a family of 3 which at this point there was an open table already inside and they seated them asap and even brought them their drinks. Meanwhile we were waiting for her to at least have the courtesy to clean the table for us to seat since we were waiting. Another person came through the door and they immediately helped her, while we still waiting on them to clean the table. I got closed to the girl and said excuse me the table outside is empty can we please have it clean. The girl answered; I know but I’m busy?! I believe that before taking care of the people that came behind us they should of attended us first.. and even if they seated them first they could of came back to us, clean the table and have us seated. Not just go on with seating the other people, serving them and also taking care of someone else while you have people that came first and have them wait until you feel like doing it..I understand you’re busy, but you weren’t that busy to help the others behind us..
So cute. Loved everything I ordered. Staff was fabulous especially because I am in a wheelchair and they made room for me to go around the counter to get to a table. Coffee was perfect. Please go and enjoy.
Exactly as advertised: Excellent breakfast prepared well and flavorful! Debbie was super attentive and very personable. Clean casual atmosphere.
A charming little cafe that I wanted to like more, but the inside is just a little too cramped for my tastes. My recommendation would be to sit outside if at all possible. The interior gets crowded quickly, and our table for 4 was about the size of a 2 person table, and made having even menus a cramped and challenging game of Tetris to fit everything on such a small space.I ordered the breakfast sandwich on rye with eggs and sausage with hash browns on the side. The food was reasonable and well priced, and if I lived closer I might frequent this place more, but as I live in Charlotte it's not going to be a go to for me.
