For one person: 2 margueritas, shrimp fajita, 3 leche cake slice = $76 including a 20% tip. A bit steep. Just be prepared to pay up.

Just like every other restaurant..they start off good and when clientele is good they start cutting corners...I order lunch specials every week almost and now you get half the food..I ordered Lomo saltado and they gave me 5-6 French fries and half a scoop of rice with 4 small cubes of beef..I WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE! GREAT JOB GUYS!

We usually enjoy the food and the service is always excellent, but this last visit the food lacked it's usual flavor across all dishes that we ordered and the portions, which I can understand in today's economy, have gotten smaller. But over all, I enjoy this restaurant and will give it another visit. Might have just been a one off...

My husband and I were on the north side of Charlotte when I was craving Spanish food, so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant is beautifully designed, and my mango mojito was absolutely delicious.

The menu seemed to offer a little bit from various Latin countries, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Quesadilla La Reina and enjoyed it, while I went with the Pollo a La Plancha, which was just okay. The dish was advertised as marinated Puerto Rican chicken served with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. Before ordering, I asked about the type of rice and beans and was told it was yellow rice with green peas—I mistakenly assumed this meant arroz con gandules (a traditional Puerto Rican dish).

I also substituted the maduros (sweet plantains) for tostones (fried green plantains) but wasn’t informed there would be an extra charge. I was surprised to see the additional cost on the bill at the end of our meal. Additionally, I was disappointed in the side of black beans and yellow rice, as it wasn’t what I had expected. If I return, I’d likely try a dish that leans more toward the Mexican side of the menu.

Came in pretty late (an hour before closing) so I’m sure i didn’t get the full experience however, we did not feel rushed and our food was hot and fresh. They were also very accommodating as my partner is in a wheelchair. We had the stewed chicken burrito which i would order again, the fajitas, the caramelized pineapple margarita, and the churros. All of it, i would order again!

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in the restaurant.

The tostones made us place a second order, they were yummy. Decor is inviting, for a group of friends on Taco 🌮 Tuesday or a good family dinner 🍽️. Different seating options, both inside and outside - nice options for different types of occasions. Food was delicious, the beans 🫘 were SO good like you were in someone’s home. I cannot wait to eat here again. Highly recommend. Parking is decent, the plaza is a bit awkward though.

It has been awhile since I visited Verde and I’m kicking myself. The food is exceptional and such a value for the quality of the food. I’ll definitely make this a future part of our restaurant rotation.

Went there for Brunch after wedding dress shopping. The server was so nice and friendly. She was so accommodating to our dietary needs and asks. Will be visiting again.

I have eaten a few times and it was always good but this time I am disappointed. I tried the Quesadillas and the menu said it came with avocado ceasar salad so I thought that sounded good. But when it arrived it was just lettuce thrown in the middle of the plate, no dressing or avocado. I ask what happened? She came back plain ceasar dressing. She said they don't serve with avocado anymore. But didn't change the menu. Also they don't serve chips and salsa complementary anymore. You have to pay $4.50 for them and they give you a tiny salsa. My quesadillas were good but disappointed about the rest. This place is not cheap. If you are paying $20 for quesadillas you can throw in free chips and salsa and salad dressing on your salad. Not worth the money, so many other places you can eat in this area.

Wonderful food, atmosphere and service! The chicken fajitas are the best I've ever had. The salmon is also wonderful. The brisket nachos are also wonderful. Prices are very reasonable. Great Mexican fusion restaurant!
