Never got to eat cause the staff were being lazy and all the places to sit had food plates from previous customers and they didn't take the time to clear any of them. They are entitled and don't think of the customer

i had the worst experience at waffle house while traveling to charlotte nc recently. the waiter was very nice its just the food was horr there were only 2cooks cooking EVERYONES food.i do take into account that they were short staffed but i asked specifically for certain items and was given something else of course i ate some of it bcuz i was super hungry but was disgusted upon my departure. will not recommend this place

I cant say anything bad about the food. Food has always been good. But the service for the 2 go orders are bad. It was so pack when we went and there was no where to sit so we had to do a 2 go orders but we noticed that the tales was leaving and they was sitting people that came in behind us . After 40 minutes of taking our orders they took everyone behind us that sit down order and call their order . So we sit their for 45 minutes and still didn't call our orders. She end up twlling th lady who came in after us that they take care of the in house people first even if they come in after us . A table of 6 people came in 30 minutes after us got their food within 15 minutes and we found out they still haven't called our order in. So after 1 hour i found out still haven't called our order in. So I got a refund . What fot me in they dont call the orders in right when they take it. and whoever walks in after us to sit at the table no matter if it was 5 minutes they call their orders first because they take dine in people first no matter you sit there 1 hour. Also they add 20% of your order so they and guve it to the house and the ones takes your order and plus if you leave a tip they get that also. I believe in leaving tips for a waiter.. but that should be people choice. not take 20% jyst because its a to go order and also leave a tip. I believe they should called orders as you walk in . Call orders as the order you walk in..

This is the worst Waffle House Iāve ever been to. I went with my husband and our son. It took 30 minutes to get my food. I ordered 2 eggs, hash browns and toast. The eggs were not fully cooked and slimy. The hash browns were cold in the middle. 15 minutes AFTER I FINISHED my food I asked how much longer till my son and husbands food would be ready. Thatās when we realized they hadnāt even started because their order was ālost in the shuffleā.
Finished our food before getting an order of toast that was already screwed up texas cheese steak melt was burnt the steak over done and bacon didn't even look like bacon. This is one we won't be back
Kelly was very rude needed to place a order when she decided that she wanted to do āother thingsā before taking the customers order I witness her pass up 4 black families to take a order of a family that was sitting down that happened to be white it is 2024/2025 there is no reason for this and am very disappointed in their customer service

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I just stood inside for 9 minutes and was never even acknowledged! There were 3 dirty tables that no one was bothering to attempt to clean. The male cook was on his phone and 1 of the 3 waitresses sat down to eat. A man that appeared to be management, sat down with someone for an actual interview. I can honestly say, I have NEVER experienced this is the 100's of Waffle Houses that I have been to. I will not be back!
