“If you or your family have celiac disease (gluten allergy) Smithfield’s in Jacksonville on Yopp road is the place to go! We are so thankful we have somewhere safe to eat. They take the allergy seriously. They change gloves, are careful on cross contamination, and pack food separately. Thank you Smithfield’s!“

Not sure of his name - I’m in the drive threw people everywhere normal madness at lunchtime- he is in there busting butt to help his employees get lunch orders out- Mind you I am in the drive threw- he stops what he is doing and tells his employees “Y’all are doing great keep it up, I really appreciate you! “The food was piping hot. The fried okra were delicious. The honey biscuit is my favorite. I got the original chicken tenders and they had no flavor at all. Despite it being 12:15 right after church let out they had to cook my tenders and okra. I had to wait 10 minutes for my food during what should be the lunch hour and then should be prepared. There weren't many customers so........“

“The service is good, food is good. But for some reason they forget to put all the sides in the bag. For instance; I ordered mashed potatoes, cole slaw and mac and cheese. Got home I had cole slaw, 2 mashed potatoes. No mac and cheese. From now on I'll check my order before I leave the place. This isn't the first time my order was wrong. In my opinion; they need to pay attention to what they're doing.“

“We’ve always loved Chick-fil-A — the food, the service, and the consistency. But this Jacksonville, NC location is definitely a bit of a challenge to navigate. The parking lot and drive-thru setup are extremely tight — you literally have to drive around just to get in line, which feels a bit silly. That said, there’s really not much they can do about the limited space at this point.

Compared to our old Chick-fil-A in Algiers, New Orleans, which ran like clockwork with quick mobile orders and smooth traffic flow, this one just moves a little slower. The service is still friendly, and the food quality is what you’d expect from Chick-fil-A — it just needs a few small adjustments to reach that same level of efficiency.

We’ll definitely be back, but hopefully the flow improves over time.“
