I, my wife, my son and his wife went on the Valentines river cruise. The crew was friendly enough, until they served dinner, then I got the impression they didn't like me. The portions were extremely small, extremely....and the flavor was pretty bad. This in no way shape form or fashion measured up to the $75 per couple sailing price. The atmosphere and service were good, the food was pretty terrible. (Visited on Jan 2nd) When ordering fried shrimp on the water I expect actual shrimp, not baskets of baby shrimp with the veins still in. The oysters, while plentiful, were hap-hazardly piled on a regular plate and were fairly tasteless. The steak was overcooked and tasted odd….the chicken sandwich was just blah.
