Southern Harvest exceeded every expectation for our retirement party! The food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Nita personally delivered and set everything up, making the entire process completely stress-free.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was. We were asked over and over where it came from because everyone was so impressed! We also had more than enough food for everyone, with plenty left over, which was a huge bonus.
If you’re looking for incredible food, exceptional service, and someone who truly cares about making your event special, I can’t recommend Southern Harvest and Nita enough. Thank you for helping make our retirement celebration so memorable!

Quaint, cute, amazing service, fantastic food!
We had oxtails, cat fish, and chicken wings. Large portions and all the food was cooked to perfection.
We enjoyed brunch here, quite and calm atmosphere, amazing food and well priced. Staff was kind and attentive. We will come back!

It’s a shame the oxtails are only available twice a week. The best ones I’ve had in Jacksonville by far. Over white rice and with the gravy and with some crispy spots so tender, juicy and not like these other places, Souther harvest fills your plate and your gut. 10/10.

Wow…i suggested that my friends and I have brunch at Southern Harvest and I’m so happy that I did. It was my first time going and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend your restaurant to anyone.

Not Gluten-free. I gave it three stars because I was pleased with the customer service when I called to ask if they are gluten-free. Nothing on their menu said gluten-free but when I googled gluten-free their restaurant popped up as an option. Knowing that I must be very careful about this, I called and the young lady that I spoke with was very pleasant and apologetic.

My family and I attended this restaurant today, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was calm and wonderful but the service was very odd. Upon entering we were greeted which wasn’t an issue at all in any way shape or form, but after ordering we were asked if we needed anything and after my myself, my brother and sister asked for things (ranch, ketchup and my missing fries), we noticed that the staff were flustered. That’s perfectly fine, then we noticed that after asking for my missing fries, the staff started to speak on it and laugh about it and my mother happened to notice a handwritten message on the whiteboard about how customers are “upsetting the staff” we didn’t quite appreciate that. It became very uncomfortable and we left at closing. We don’t mind giving this place another try in the future but I’d rather not pay extra for French fries/wedges that were posted to be included with my meal and kinder service where we don’t hear ourselves being spoken about right in front of our faces.

Food was good got the stack of pancakes called cloud nine and catfish and grits serving size ok fish was kind of small. Service was ok they lemonade was good.
