There were cockroaches in my room, which I only found at 1am. Left my name and phone number twice at the hotel and asked one of the managers to call me. Have not heard a peep from them. Manager was not available when we checked out.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and a fruit cup while watching the Royal Coronation. Two people only in the area waiting for their orders. After 5 minutes a group of 3 ordered. Several minutes later the group of 3 received their orders. We cancelled and asked for our $17+ to be credited. Can't imagine the wait if they were busy. Will not come back.

Terrible customer service

After having to leave another hotel due to its condition - we were happy to be allowed to check into this location. Despite it being 10am, the staff allowed us access to the pool and facilities until our room was available later in the day. We decided to extend our stay last minute and the staff were very accommodating of our reservation changes. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, the location is easily accessible and in close proximity to many restaurants and the mall. We will definitely use this as our go-to hotel as our son is stationed at Camp Lejeune.

After an incredibly horrific stay at the nearby Suburban Extended Stay hotel, we decided to change to the Courtyard Marriott. As soon as we walked into the lobby we were greeted by Emma at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful as we explained that we were hoping to check in early (it was almost 1 pm) because we checked out of our previous hotel due to the horrendous condition of the room there. She immediately called Housekeeping to see if our room was ready. We took a short trip to the grocery store next door and upon our return, Emma told us our room was ready and even gave ! I felt very appreciated as a Marriott Bonvoy Rewards Member and also was very happy to see my request for extra pillows and towels was also fulfilled. The only small negative thing was that there were only 2 lounge chairs by the pool and some of the tiles had fallen off the edge of the pool. Other than that, our stay was great.

Im notmally not in the area. I had to visit for work. I arrived at this hotel. Upon check in I asked for the high floor. The rep stated nothing was available and the time was 300pm. I really arrived to the city earlier and decided to waste time to give the hotel time to clean the rooms. She stated it was only two people working housekeeping and to give them 45m. Then I hear the alarm going off and people talking about a leak. I went on the seconf flor and the pipes had burst. However, I decided to wait 45 additional minutes for the room. I arrived back 60m later. The fire truck was there the leak had spread and the employees, maintenance, and management didn't know how to turn off the water. So now there were in the process of turning the water off in the entire building. Ive been waiting over an hour for a room. I decided to go somewhere else at this point. I was traveling and was ready to shower and relax. I feel like these people wasted my time. These franchise Marriott's are the worst they NEVER keep up the properties. I complain about this often because its true. This place is very unorganized and Marriott need to let this property go or take the property back. These kinds of things are happening to often. With an so call upscale chain. I will never return.

Service here is not always the best. It’s hit or miss depending on the staff. As for the Bistro, would not recommend. Service is not great. Every bartender is not really a bartender. No personality! You need to go to the bar to be waited on, which takes several minutes. Bistro staff in the evening have no clue.

Clean rooms, reasonably spacious, there was some construction going on while I was there though -- didn't bother me but some are sensitive to that (not noise, just the aesthetics of having a bunch of work done in the hallway). I'd say this is a n above average Courtyard Marriott.

Customer service was excellent! The big problem was the mold issue on the third floor. I showed the employee working the desk the mold on the walls in the third floor corridor. She agreed it was terrible. It was black mold. Will not stay there again until this is fixed. We are titanium members with Marriott and received no discount for our stay. Completely ridiculous!

700 bucks for 3 nights and I don't even have a microwave in my room. The fridge barley holds the drinks I bought to put in it. This place don't feel homely at all! Not even 1 picture on the wall. Whoever set up the website/pics for this place did a great job cause they fooled me. The room stinks, the chair is sticky and the beds aren't comfortable. I visit here pretty often and wanted to try this place assuming it was a upgrade. I was dead wrong. literally paying for the amenities which I probably wont use. Just love to enjoy a comfortable room that feels like a home away from home. I lost this round. Just gonna stick to what I know for the future. on a positive note, its in a great location for dining. Don't waste your time or bread looking into this place. Hopefully I can save someone with this review from being a s***** like me.

We are here now seeing our son who is at Camp Lejeune. Courtyard is clean with spacious rooms. There is a bistro that serves drinks and food. Our stay is 5 nights and we are on night 3. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing I find to complain about is the need for blinds or darker curtains in the rooms facing front of parking lot. Those lights shine bright at night and the thin see thru curtains does nothing to keep the light out. I like a dark room when I sleep and the lights keep me awake.

Food was great, coffee was good. But I had to wait more than 45 minutes to get my order. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich and got an English muffin instead. My suggestion to anyone considering eating at this otherwise great hotel, is to find another place to eat.

Stayed here for a long weekend and thought it was a pretty nice hotel. I am an Elite Member and have stayed at far better and far worse Marriott hotels. First, the location of the hotel could not be better. There are so many shops and restaurants in this area so a lot of great choices. The hotel was quiet despite the parking lot being totally full Saturday night. I found the noise from the outside (both outside of the hotel and outside in the hallways) to be quite minimal. We have stayed at Marriott hotels where you could hear every single little noise, door opening and closing, and even a conversation from the next room. Not this one. This was all despite being placed in a room on the first floor. We did not have to use the elevators so I cannot comment on the other floors of the hotel as far as cleanliness and temperature of the hallways as another reviewer pointed out. The room was quite spacious and had everything we needed. The room did not have a microwave but that is not something that matters to us. There was a little refrigerator hidden away in a closet near the window and that suited our needs just fine. The bathroom was quite spacious and the shower pressure was excellent. I do prefer to have the sink outside of the bathroom so that if one person wants to just be getting ready in the morning brushing their teeth, shaving, putting on makeup, etc., the other person, if privacy needed, can be in the shower or using the facilities but that is just my preference. Everything (shower, sink, toilet bowl) was in the one room. It was extremely hot outside during our visit and the air conditioner in our room worked wonderfully the entire time and was not overly noisy. The bed was quite comfortable, extra pillows furnished upon request and a habit of mine to pull back all the covers and check the mattress and sheets for cleanliness resulted in a positive outcome. I found it to be very clean. The room itself seemed clean (a little dust on the light fixtures, not a deal breaker though) and we were notified at the front desk that no-one would be entering our room during our stay to clean. We were advised to request anything we needed via the Bonvoy app or at the front desk. Coffee was provided in the room as were the usual shampoos and lotions. I have a fondness for the refreshing lemon sage body lotion. The pool area was closed due to the current regulations but the outdoor lounge area was open. The indoor lounge area was open but none of the televisions were on and the Bistro was only open for breakfast. No bar service for obvious reasons at this time. The little market was open so you could get a snack anytime. Front desk employees were hit or miss on customer service and friendliness. The woman who checked us in (I forget her name) was absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful. The other employees we encountered were ok. I had a quick question for the woman at the front desk upon checkout and she was less than friendly and seemed rather annoyed to have to answer any question or be helpful in any way. Social distancing and mask wearing was practiced by fellow travelers during our stay. The front desk employees were protected by a shield and I did not notice any of them wearing masks or gloves when interacting with guests. We were able to check-in via the app but still had to go to the front desk to show a driver license and get a room card. All in all a good stay and if we visit the area again in the future, I would not hesitate to stay here again. There are a ton of hotels in the area though so check around for price and what you are getting for the price. Our rate did not include breakfast but I think that is typical for Courtyard Marriott Hotels.

I just don't expect this from a Marriott, but it's the 2nd property I've visited in a month that has disappointed. The issue, management and poor maintenance, I believe. What disappointed? Staircase has carpeting over the stairs and a rubber piece on the edge of the treads. The rubber pieces are coming loose and are a definite trip hazard, which could lead to a serious injury accident. The wallpaper in the halls, in some places, is splattered with who knows what....disgusting. Oh, the hallways where my 2nd floor room was located....it has to be at least 90 degrees in the hallway. You get out of the elevator and the heat hits you. What's wrong with the AC? Desk chair in the room is so worn out that your right hip sits about 2 or 3" lower than your left hip. The electric car chargers outside in the parking lot have orange cones set up in form of the chargers, which I assume means the chargers don't work. Out by the pool, where the roaches run across the deck....there are planters blocking access to the outside bathrooms, the paver deck is mildewed and there are big clumps of weeds growing up through the deck. Handrails and ladder on the pool are rusty. I don't even want to think what the water sanitation is like. How in the world can a property that is not all that old age this badly? Horrible management, and very poor cleaning and maintenance. Hey, Marriott as a Titanium Bonvoy member, I can tell you I won't want to come back here again.
