“Fantastic cheese curds…a must have! I had the Italian beef sandwich “baptized”. I’m from Chicago and know what the sandwich is supposed to taste like. They really delivered on it. Taste, texture, and condiments were very similar to what I would expect in Chicago. Well done! The only feedback is that the bathrooms needed attention.“

“This is a great place for a first time meeting or to hang with a bunch of friends. They have plenty of board games and trivia to keep you entertained. The live music on Saturday night is enjoyable. There is a wide selection of craft beers that are changed out often, so rarely the exact same selection.“

“Been going to this place for awhile and realizing there’s been a trend of the food workers just doing auto gratuity on a lot of my food items. I have no problem with this, but it’s quite frustrating when it’s not directly stated that it’s something that’s going to happen when I’ve already tipped the worker.“
“As soon as I stepped into the bar, I noticed the upbeat music and vibrant ambiance. With a couple pool tables, multiple TVs, and a clean setup, the lounge hosts karaokes from Wednesdays to Friday. Also, Tyler, the owner, was friendly and engaging.“

“A neighborhood bar that prides itself on being just that. A group of regulars is always there. The bartenders treat you like friends. Don't get me wrong, it's a dive bar. But it's the best dive bar I've ever had the pleasure of drinking at.“
“This bar has been in business forever because my friends and I used to party here a lot in the early 1990s while we were students at Greensboro College and it was so much fun. I'm gay and my friends and I loved it here but it was never a gay bar just gay friendly. Enjoy yourselves because this is a cool place for drinking and since cannibus isn't legal in NC yet I guess u'll still have to do that outdoors. Lol“

“This is a great local spot. But is also fun for someone visiting Greensboro. This is a small, laid back bar with a nice outdoor seating area. Staff is friendly and the drinks are delicious. This is also a great spot for parking and walking around the small strip it's located in. I do recommend LDI (as the locals call it).Bar service only, so eat beforehand.“

“Popped in here mid-afternoon to kill some time while I was waiting on a client. Decided to have a drink and I went with a cider. I believe it was Appalachian Mountain but I could be wrong. Bar is nice. Service is great. But the real star is the outside sitting area. All types of tables and chairs Adirondacks, high chairs low chairs picnic tables etc etc. Whatever you want.“

“I’ve been enjoying Village Tavern for over 25 years—whether celebrating with friends and family or simply stopping in for a casual meal. It’s one of those rare places where I know I can always count on a consistently great meal and warm, attentive service.
There’s truly not a bad seat in the house. The indoor dining area is cozy and welcoming, and I especially love the outdoor patio when the weather’s nice. The large bar inside is perfect for socializing or networking, with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. It’s a spot that’s friendly to both families and singles, and the staff always makes everyone feel at home.
Some of my favorites include the fish tacos, meatloaf, and carrot cake—each one consistently delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of parking, which makes every visit easy and enjoyable.
Village Tavern has been part of so many memories over the years, and I’m grateful it continues to be a place I can return to with confidence and joy.“
“We got to see Them! Rockabilly and I would absolutely recommend anyone to ho see them if you get the chance. It's a 3 man band and they are awesome. It's the most fun I've had watching a live performance for as long as I can remember 🤓“

“Came in to shoot a couple games by myself (recovering from elbow surgery, just to see how it felt) and have a couple beers. 2 beers, 45 mins on a table, and was charged $6.50. Marty said he would let me play a bit and prorate since I didn't know how the elbow would work. Beers were ice cold, Marty is super nice and I've never stepped into a pool hall and left paying $6.50! I will definitely be a regular!“
“Shrimp was fresh and battered in house. The real deal y'all. I'm from the coast and this is a-1 seafood. Very laid back environment with great music. Shoot pool while you enjoy some delicious mixed drinks or an ice cold beer. The owner was amazing and so very friendly. I would definitely recommend 100 times over!“

Sam is hands down one of the best in the business! From the moment we walked into Boo Radley’s, they made us feel like regulars. Friendly, fast, and always on point—Sam knows how to keep the vibe fun and the drinks flowing. You can tell they truly care about making sure everyone has a great time. If you’re lucky enough to get Sam behind the bar, you’re in for a great night. Cheers to good people and even better service!“
“A great place to take a dog that is used to there being other dog due to the small nature of the outdoor and indoor areas. The drink selection is great and it is one of the only place I feel I can take my dog in the summer. If is wasn't summer though I would opt to go to a more spacious dog park because of the small play area.“
