“I've been here twice and one time with my family and the another with my bf, I'm vegetarian and I was surprised to see tofu as a protein option most places I go don't have it. Both my family and bf loved the ramen especially the Tonkotsu ramen, and I really liked the tomato one.

“My husband and I just took a chance one late afternoon while in that area on this Japanese restaurant. Well it was SO good we go back almost once a week. We live 15 miles from there but do not mind the driving to get great food. The owner is very nice, reasonable pricing and you get a good amount of food. And it's delicious!! To the woman who commented on the owners son running the front end. I grew up working at my father's business starting at 10 years old. There is absolutely nothing wrong with teaching your children entrepreneurship. I learned early on to work for a living and how to run a business and give customer service. I applaud this family for teaching their children life skills and one day this young man will more than likely own his own business.“

“I was greeted with a warm smile when I walked in. The cashier who I think may be the owner answered my questions about some items I was courteous about on the menu. I only had to wait about 10 minutes. The three meat yakisoba was great and there was an abundance of it. I will definitely be dining there again in the near future.“

“Poke Dream is a small place but very clean. We love to sit outside at the very clean picnic table and enjoy our lunch. Mike is very nice but quiet and very professional. When we get there early he is cleaning the picnic table and wiping the door and windows. He has been very kind and works really hard to make changes to my order and doesn't seem to mind. We ate our lunch there and were taking a ramen bowl back to a coworker. Mike waited until we were almost finished to make the takeout bowl so it would be nice and hot when we got ready to leave. We didn't ask him to do that. He also brings our lunch outside to us. He didn't have to do those things but he seems to go the extra mile. The Seafood Bowl is my favorite but I ask for jalapenos and purple cabbage in place of edamame. It is so good with Salmon, shrimp and tuna. I get mine on mixed greens and love this so much. The ramen is also fantastic and has the best broth I have ever eaten. We are so fortunate to have such a fresh and delicious option so close by. I am excited to try many more options. I hope everyone supports such a wonderful business.“

“Tried this place for the first time today and let’s just say I found me a new hibachi spot. I got the teriyaki chicken and even tried some teriyaki tofu and it was delicious! The prices are reasonable and they give large portions. Customer service was great. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Been wanting to try out this restaurant for ages. The staff was so sweet and the lady that greeted and served us is so nice and funny, love her. The food was pretty good and even though I shouldn’t eat pork, I risked it anyways and it did not disappoint! Tangsuyuk was nice and crisp, but the sauce had a very overwhelming taste of pineapple, which was all we tasted and didn’t quite like too much but overall it was still very good. Jajangmyeon was also very good although I didn’t tasted any bean bits in it which I’m used to but everybody makes it differently. The complimentary sides in my friend’s and I opinion were quite bland but the pickled radish was very good. Overall I’d come back!“

“We went out as a family to celebrate my son's success in karate. The staff treated him (and our daughter) like royalty and were very attentive. The food (hibachi and sushi) was delicious! And there was so much! Perfect for dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day. We'll be back soon!“

And from there nothing...
As soon as the cook leaves, you also leave, I didn't like that.
They bring the bill and start half-cleaning ??

“Let me start by saying that I loved Khia of Japan when they were on High Point Rd. I recently found out that they were Oak Ridge now. So, I decided to place an order for pickup and man I'm so glad I did. I missed this Japanese food so much. I hate that they were completely empty when I arrived. I don't know if people don't know about it or what, but the food is good. I will definitely go back again. I will probably go today to be honest. It sucks that people don't know about this place.“

Food was good very sweet people, I got the teriyaki chicken and hibachi steak both with fried rice, both were good just needed a little more sauce for the rice and the meats I got my kids the cheeseburger and fries, burger was great and the fries were crinkle with seasoning on them. Overall very good and super cheap!“

“We ordered 3 steak and chicken hibachi meals and salads with ginger dressing for take out. The ginger dressing was chunky and not good. The steak was tough and well done even though we ordered it medium rare. The chicken and veggies lacked flavor. Ginger and white sauces were not good either-way too sweet. Probably the worst Japanese food I’ve ever had. Will not order from here again.“
