The bang bang shrimp were cooked & seasoned perfectly. We also had the crab cake sandwich & the pork bbq sandwich. They have a bbq sauce or the most popular vinegar based sauce. It was so good because bought a thing of their award winning vinegar sauce. The staff were so polite & the food came out fast & hot... this is our new favorite secret to eat..... they do breakfast, lunch, & dinner. It's very casual w/ a full bar . The bar seats around 12-15 people..

Was given the wrong order for take out. Didn’t notice until we got back to the house. Opened the bag and noticed it was wrong so we took it back (all within 15 min). Told the woman behind the counter there was a mix up and she got super defensive. The people who’s order we were given were also there picking up and the server just kept telling them over and over again (right in front of us and the whole bar) how “weird” we were for leaving with the wrong order and bringing it back.she said this at least 3 or 4 times. She said flat out that the whole mix up was my fault for not checking the order, which fair enough I’ll take some blame. I could of checked before leaving. But to not take ANY responsibility for the mix up and then bad mouth us to other people and infront of us is a whole other level of rude. The server never confirmed our name or order before giving it to us, we just assumed we were the only take out order since it was the only one sitting in the take out area ready to go. The food is not nearly good enough to warrant being treated that poorly. So sadly, even though we live close by I don’t think we will be returning.

Their service was phenomenal; personable and friendly. She made the experience memorable.The Fried Flounder plate and Chicken Tenders were fresh, hot, and delicious. EXCELLENT CORN BREAD!!Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is very Kid & Family Friendly. It's a nice homey feeling.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible and easy.

Where do I start. The food was excellent, my wife had the chicken salad BLT, and I had the fried flounder. Our server Justin was great, super friendly and attentive., we never had to wait for a refill or anything. The prices are good. Oh and the cheesecake was good as well. I only wish I would've found this place sooner. Will definitely be back.

The special was meat loaf,mashed potatoes and string beans - a Nurturing meal. The meal was delicious. My friend - flounder Sandwich- yay - he loved it. The restaurant is immaculate. Staff go above and beyond Welcoming-I will go back.

Seen this place while traveling south from Va. Stopped in on the way back for breakfast and glad I did. Very filling meal that came out hot and fresh. Has home cooking feel and is as real of a place as it gets. Also had the orange juice which was fresh squeezed. Do your self a favor and dont pass this little place by. Came here during “off season” and dined in for Lunch. Boyfriend had the Chicken Salad Sandwich, and I ordered the Chicken Salad Cold Plate. Both were very good. Very shocked at the portion size for the price we payed - we were satisfied and full. Desert was good too! We’ve become locals as of recent and looking forward to coming back for dinner in the future. Awesome place I’d you’re in the area or leaving/coming into the OBX.
