This is Jef Eatery and Cafe the name change is why we are going here for the first time today. This place is very cute and clean. The servers were Calvin and Nan, who were both friendly and attentive, what more could you want? The wife's coffee got a little cold and they heated it up very quickly. Southern Scoops was previously known as the Dairy House and was always a beloved diner in town. I remember initially being nervous about the change in ownership, name, and look but I am delighted to say that they improved upon the already adored restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere is the best it's ever been and my family will always come here for a good bite.

I moved here from Florida and took my son to get a quick lunch and ice cream. They greeted us when we came in. They immediately knew we had never been there before which left an impression that they remember every customer. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small town.
