Popeye's Chicken, & Their Tenders Have Always Been One of My Favorites,as well as their Mild Spicy chicken Flavors for Years!!..it's Great to See a Franchise Team up with Popeye's and bring them up around The Concord/Kannapolis Area, Even though it seems they have their issues on a fairly regular basis I understand. .. and I would say at both places I don't know what their deal is, maybe they're just hiring the cheapest people that'll work that don't care about working I don't know Hopefully they'll Continue Northward toward the Salisbury area,etc.! ...Anyways..Popeye's "mild Spicy"Chicken,Along with their Red Beans & Rice, Mashed Potatoes & Cajun gravy,corn on the cob are another of my favorites!...BUT!...You Should Always Remember like in My Case the "ToGo window".. if you're getting it to go..I Found Out The Hard Way Once i Got Home.. Over 15-17 Miles Away!... that I Didn't get Everything I Paid For.. My Order Was All Screwed Up!..So I Called Them the Next Day,& Was Told They Couldnt Just Ajust the Credit Card Charge for the missing food.. But if i wanted to Bring My Receipt Back, They'd Fix the Problem.. That Was Good.. But..15-17 Miles One-Way with Gas Over $4 a GALLON!.. Well .. I Found A Few Other Reasons to Go Back Over that Way,Which Made it More Acceptable/Reasonable... & SO... Popeye's Made it Right!!!.. pb

I live 15 miles away, but because I enjoy Popeyes chicken so much, I had to take the drive.I ordered online, and upon my arrival, the order was not completed. Within 10 minutes, the order was brought to the car.I"d return to this establishment. I was not disappointed.

I had the best experience at this Popeyes on S Cannon in Kannapolis the Manger Elijah was awesome great customer service and my food was hot and ready I frequent there alot and its such a pleasure to find a fast food restaurant that you feel comfortable and welcome 10 out of tenParking: Numerous spots to Park and very accessible

As a fired chicken lover, popeyes is always my go to but this one as well as the other on 29 in concord nc, need serious improvement. Both locations always have a limited menu due to the high demand of popular products, but it doesn’t seem that someone in upper management is doing anything to improve supply.

I don't understand how this location is still in business. We had a 14 minute wait at the drive through window to place an order. Nobody ever came back to the mic to acknowledge us. We rolled up to the window after placing the order through the APP. After 48 minutes, the food was finally ready. Over a dozen cars pulled up and tried to wait to place their orders through the drive through but ended up pulling off since the line was so backed up. The corporate office should really visit this horrible location. They're a disgrace at least at this one in Kannapolis. My first and last time here. Poor reflection of a place that typically does well in other areas.

Please be careful eating at this restaurant when a white male manager is on duty . My daughter and I was there recently . The manager nose was running and he was using his bare hands to wipe his nose. He proceed to fix customers orders with his unwashed hands. To make matters worse, he was picking fries from the counter with his bare hands and throwing them back into pan. I had to call another employee over to inform her of what he did and to please fix my food and make fresh fries .

Just overall TERRIBLE! I truly don’t know how this location remains in business. The service was horrible, food was down right disrespectful and disgusting. This location is always “out” of an item or the people are just too lazy to make it at that time. The wait time is terrible most of the time as well. Everyone on staff should be fired for the order they handed me tonight. We order 2 chicken sandwich meals. 1 sandwich has so much mayonnaise on it and all over the place. The red beans and rice was so damn watery it couldn’t even be trusted to taste. The other chicken sandwich was HUGE at first glance. It had soooo much damn breading on it. I was scared to even take a bite. I peeled all the breading off to see no chicken at all lol. What a joke! They were “out” of fires tonight and Mac and cheese had a 8min wait. Of course I was not given a receipt. You literally have to beg for those. This place needs new management and staff ASAP!
