So this place is in a large hotel in Kitty Hawk, but we were looking for some salads, and found their menu online, and we gave them a try. Glad we did. We each ordered a salad (house salad with grilled chicken as well as their cobb salad), and both were very good. Nice mixed greens, good grilled chicken, fresh toppings, and an enjoyable place to have them. Service was very good - Dee did a great job with us, bringing out a pitcher of water for us, and making sure we were well taken care of. Atmosphere is not much - it's in the hotel lobby area, but the food and service were both very good. Great option if you are in the area.

Ate breakfast here because the Hilton does not provide a complimentary breakfast and i wasn't feeling like donuts that you can get across the street. They looked delicious though.

Had the Texas sandwich with sausage and it was huge. Husband and i shared it. He enjoyed his strawberry smoothie. He kept getting brain freezes because he was drinking it so fast.

We didn't wait long for our food. Service was great. Maybe next time we come for dinner and drinks.

We checked in today and didn’t feel like going out and fighting the crowds. So we have it a shot.

The staff was excellent! Very friendly and attentive. Started off with the soup of the day, seafood chowder, and it did not disappoint! It was delicious!

The food was very flavorful and spot on. Chicken dish was good and had a comforting flavor. Shrimp and grits had a great flavor combination and was really good.

Only thing I would change is the amount of sauce on the shrimp and grits. It was abundant and I lost the grits in it.

Other than that little suggestion we had a great experience and was pleasantly surprised!

Just finished a four night stay at the Hilton and had breakfast every morning at the Aviator Tavern. Traveling with a dog can be a challenge, but fortunately the Hilton in Kitty Hawk is pet friendly. Understandably, pets aren’t allowed in the restaurant, but we met Rachel who is a server. She was so kind to bring our food outside to us in the courtyard each morning and even brought water for our dog. The food was great and her friendliness and kindness made it even better. Be back next year!

Ate breakfast here, and ordered the pancakes and sausage. The sausage was fine, but the pancakes were just okay. However, the reason I give this only two stars is because the syrup provided is just that awful artificial stuff. No maple syrup available.

This place really surprised us for a hotel restaurant in a good way. The sausage on the Texas toast breakfast sandwich was so flavorful. The breakfast food overall was so good. The hollandaise had great flavor too.

The vibe was cute. Loved the fish tanks. We had a great waitress who made some modifications on our food and was just so sweet. She was newer and I wish I got her name.

When we got food to go another day I subbed the bagel on the Texas toast sandwich and it was soooo good!

Enjoyed the restaurant/ Bar experience with delicious food and great Service from Carrie Jordan. Would recommend 10/10!
