Absolutely a gorgeous Lil restaurant with old school italin feel amazing food menu small menu that changes everything made from scratch real taste of Italy and the staff is very friendly and family like one of the best places on the main land or island definitely top italin restaurant in my opinion

This place was so incredible!!! I was shocked to find one of the best Italian restaurants hiding in Kitty Hawk. The bread is homemade, baked to perfection as well as the pesto served with it. The tomato sauce tasted so fresh and delicious. We ordered the grape leaves, stuffed peppers, chicken parm and tiramisu to share. You can tell everything here is made in house with real, fresh ingredients. So glad to have stumbled upon Josephine's, looking forward to visiting again soon.

Food was okay. Server was very nice. Tables who ordered after us got their food before us. If you plan a visit here, beware that there is VERY limited seating, wait times for tables can be very long. I’d recommend coming right as they open at 5.

Stopped in the other night for the first time for a meal and was not disappointed. The food was great coupled with the Italian bread. Get there early because the place was packed. Not an expansive menu but what they do they do to perfection. Atmosphere was very nice. Reminiscent of being in my Italian Aunts home. Old photos on walls of time past.Try it out you won’t be disappointed.

The food was delicious. The only problem was we were asked to move from our dinner table to the bar area before we finished our dinner/drinks because they had other people waiting. I have never been asked by a restaurant to leave my dinner table.

So glad we stumbled upon this place! But beware there are only 10 tables so you must get there early when they open @ 5pm. No reservations and it’s a fixed menu weekly (but found on website) everything was very good and fresh Italian bread. Definitely recommend!
