Atmosphere was amazing but the bartender Preston capped it all off. Went to 3 different bars prior and it just wasn't a vibe. Other bartenders in the area were just rude and uninterested. Preston offered beers before I asked, gave information about the area and was just a genuine individual that sparked conversation and made it a good night. Will definitely be back to see him and Longboards in the future.

One of the few places in the OBX that has employees that understand the concept of Outstanding Service!! We are in the OBX 4 times a year and have made it a point to visit different restaurants. Over the last 3 years, it has become very apparent that a lot of this concept has been lost in many restaurants there. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely definitely recommend this place to Annie and everybody! They have amazing food, great friendly service and cool gifts. You can’t beat that is right near the beach and the food is so yummy especially the milkshakes! I highly recommend going and trying everything on the menu more than once.

Went to the outerbanks with some friends from school over break and had a less than ideal experience at this place. The atmosphere is definitely weird and kinda unsavory. The waitresses were unprofessional and were swearing for no good reason. They seemed lazy and fought over who would have to wait our table. We decided to leave after I got some ice water dumped on me by one of the waitresses. She was annoyed when we said we were gonna go somewhere else for dinner. Then one of the friends got cussed out by this weird old guy having a cigarette outside by the front door. Bad experience. Won’t ever be back. Bad place.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Food was great and our server was very friendly. The place had good vibes. But the day after eating there I check my account and they double charged me. They charged me once for the cost of my meal and charged me a second time for the cost of my meal plus the tip that I left. Hoping they fix this for me when they open today. Well I called twice yesterday. Once they told me they would look into and call me back we’ll almost 3 hours later still no call so I call back again this time the manager says she will call back. It’s now the next day and still no call. I’m gonna have to call my bank and dispute the charge… this place is a joke in the way the have handled this is incredibly unprofessional! It’s now the third day and I’ve still not heard back from management at this restaurant to resolve this problem

Had to wait 40 minutes for a TO-GO order. Mind you it was nothing fancy, just chicken tenders and fries. Of which they only gave five TINY chicken tenders. $20 gone and 40 minutes lost that I’ll never get back. No clue where the 5 star ratings are coming from and sorry for not going into more detail about how terrible of a place this is - if I did it would only infuriate me again. Please do yourself a favor and AVOID this place!

You’d be better off getting a frozen TV dinner and staying home.Our server was nice but the management has put her in a bind because she was the only one on duty that night so it was slow.They advertise a “family atmosphere”, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The whole place smells like someone urinated on the floor, and it is FILTHY.Do yourself a favor and go to the Jolly Roger or Barefoot Bernie’s, or even McDonald’s.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely not kid friendly.
disgusting restaurant , very dirty , me and my family ate there i got FOOD POISONING and puked my guts out.they put another family literally right beside us giving us zeroprivacy or personal space , after hours of waiting for food and eating i'm sitting there waiting for my receipt and boxes so i can leave took another almost hour just to pick up and bring over some to go boxes . extremely lazy waiters .the drinks were absolutely disgusting and tasted like the machines have never been cleaned probably because they haven't .once again LAZY and disgusting with zero standardsthey also lied to my niece saying her bbq would have no sauce and came covered in sauce. had one waiter doing the entire restaurant running around like a chicken with his head cut off very unprofessional and terrible service.in the end nobody in our party or 8 likes our food. all of it was disgusting and very plain or burnt.ontop of all that usually when you have booths there's a freaking cushion. y nope not here you're literally sitting on solid wood . most uncomfortable restaurants i've ever been in will NEVER come backSTAY FAR AWAY

We ordered take-out and everything was delicious. The pizzas had so much flavor, from the sauce to the fresh veggies. The Huli chicken sandwich was exceptional. We will definitely be returning!
