This is a great spot to go very close to the ocean, in fact it is right on the other side of the dunes from the water.We have eaten here twice and both times the food and service was great. My son and I had the flounder which was a huge portion than what you are usually served at an eatery. It was cooked to perfection and did not taste fishy. Update: Went back in February 2024, and I will say this is the best restaurant we've eaten at while visiting the Outer Banks so far. Burger cooked perfectly. My family of 4 enjoyed every bite we ate. Still highly recommended. Hoping to be back in the future. Also, it's great that this place is open off season.First time here, and it definitely won't be the last! Friendly service, great food, and love the atmosphere! Definitely family and kid friendly.

Stephan our server was excellent! Prompt and efficient! Party of 6. Everything from the brie to crab legs, to filet! Everyone was highly satisfied! Never a bad meal here and plenty of variety at fair prices!
