Not sure why I wait so long to try Poks but tonight was the night and I was happy I did. everything was fresh and they even asked me what spice level I wanted my General Tso's...who else does THAT? Fresh, made to order, I will be back:)

We were treated to an unbelievable, in home experience for the second year. Our food was delicious and Chef Pok and his wife, Anastasia are so engaging. We are already looking forward to next year and discussing our meal plan!!

Pok’s is a GEM! Best Asian food in obx, SO friendly and kind, renowned private chef, great prices, even highly rated by celebrity chefs like Guy Fieri. Quaint inside seating, full menu with Thai and Chinese specialties; this place is a MUST stop (and they deliver in Kitty Hawk and cater!) every time we visit. LOVE Poks!!!

I got the Hawaiian poke bowl; the little bit of rice and tuna were dry... and tasted old. I also got the crab rangoon. It was basically just over fried creamcheese. Overall, I was not impressed; but, a friend who was with me really liked the sesame chicken - get that. The prices are decent for a beach restaurant and the staff is friendly.

So dissatisfied... been dining/loving poks for years. This was the 2nd Very Bad experience. 7people dined spent almost $200... every meal was sub par... i.e. bland tasteless pad thai, iceberg(instead of cabbage)in the fresh spring rolls. (Maybe that's how they make them, my first time trying one there) Cashew nuts in our basil chix. Cuz we ordered cashew chix also, cross contamination... VERY questionable beef in the spicy beef salad!!! Also no flavor... not one of the 5foodies in the house was happy at all. We tried the sticky rice for the first time... if that's what is was supposed to be I highly recommend against. Not one of the seven of us would take a second bite. We dine often and rocked a family biz for 30yrs...and we're SO SAD ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. Close down and work your other amazing duck restaurant. I know your brother is trying his best at Single Fin, also not still your quality.....Quit charging us for barely half way decent food... your so much better. Stay small with quality damn it!!!!!!!!!
Called to place a carry out order and a young girl answered. She didn't seem overly friendly and had zero experience with the restaurant's menu. When asked what sort of vegan dishes were available she said didn't know. When asked if she could ask someone else at the restaurant she said the cook was busy and that they only had one cook. Then she put the phone down to go ask the cook what vegan options he could do. Then I had to ask if the cook could just add some tofu to the mixed vegetables and I was told yes. My dinner was just average. Excellent for the variety of included vegetables but for some reason the tofu was really very dry.
