Sanya Sushi Bar Japanese and Chinese Cuisine

We went for lunch. I got the chicken and broccoli and a spring roll as well and it was all good. My fiancé got the teriyaki chicken box and that was good as well. Overall, the taste of the food was good, but the lunch portions are a bit small, so if you are very hungry I would suggest ordering a couple of things.

So so experience. Everybody had an issue ordering what they wanted. That could entirely be our fault by not understanding the types of food and cuisine that they offered. Anyway, nobody was satisfied out of our party of four. I had wonton soup and that was very good except she forgot about it when it came out with dinner.I had to ask her for it.So once again, just a translation problem.Maybe or a communication error.

As soon as we arrived we were met with the friendly & efficient staff. We were seated immediately & the waitress was ready to serve us. Our food came out almost immediately & the quality of it was pretty good. We ordered several menu items & each time our waitress was ready to serve us & came out with our items immediately. The place appeared clean & had a good atmosphere to it. What compelled me to write a review a review was just how precious our waitress was. She had the sweetest smile & appeared to enjoy her job. My husband & I were in & out of there in less than an hour! We were very happy with our experience ❤️

Best sushi & Chinese cuisine I’ve had in a while. They also had lumpia on the menu which I haven’t had since I was a kid living in Hawaii! So I was incredibly excited for that. Service was great, restaurant was clean, food was delicious!

Best sushi that I have had in OBX. My only complain is the crab roll is fake crab. Thought in obx it would be fresh real crab. Good cocktails and fresh fish. Will be back for sure

Tasty and authentic sushi for sure. appetizers were ok- nothing special or fancy and kind bland. Nice fresh fish tho!

All staff were very nice and attentive however some staff communication throughout the restaurant could be used because we were asked if we were ready to order 3 times all by different servers. You definitely have an assigned server but they help each other a lot. (for example we asked our server for another drink and she was getting it but another server asked if we needed more drinks) They could just do with communicating throughout the restaurant. Overall great meal and really enjoyed it!

My husband‘s dinner arrived, and no dinner for me -after 10 minutes I cancelled my dinner. Their solution was to offer me, dessert, lol We are regulars, so sorry to see this for service

We are here twice during our week in Outer Banks. The service was fantastic! The employees are all so sweet and accommodating. The food is also fantastic. I definitely recommend paying them a visit if you are craving yummy sushi.

Owners are exceptionally friendly and always accommodating. Sushi is beautiful and consistently tasty. Take out is easy and a family favorite.
