This is one of the best pizza spots on the beach. They are a takeout only spot. Their prices are comparable other shops. but the taste of their pies, knots, and sauces is really good. A great grab and go spot.

Pizza was undercooked still doughy!!! Wings were burnt on outside and raw inside!!!! Used to be good but now ran by young stones with no work ethic... such a shame

Gluten Free “The Works” Pizza is great. Large “Works” is great. You can tell that the folks making and selling these pizzas and calzones really love to make good food. Live in Duck all year. Only place we get pizza. Keep up the great work.Vegetarian options: Veggie Pizzas great.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Works is great. So is the fresh yeast bread crust. Just a great pizza place!

Listen to me, mom of three, drove 12 hours to get here and we were HUNGRY. Stumbled upon this pizza place and it was AMAZING! We had pepperoni pizza 10/10 chicken parm sub 10/10 and Buffalo chicken sub 10/10. I have never given such a great review on pizza because we are particular about crust and sauce coming from a New Yorker! Also they were pretty quick and the woman on the phone was patient and kind. This is a must stop.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the pizza. No funny toppings my particular texture sensitive, and color frightened children.
Just ate here the first time for lunch yesterday and got the Corolla sub, it was absolutely delicious! One of the best subs I've had in a while!

The people behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. They made suggestions to help us decide on our order.The pizza wasn't bad. I think the dough is tasty.The price was right.The onion rings were nicely cooked and salted.There are two waiting chairs but no tables - just a counter to order from but the store looked clean.Overall, not a bad pizza spot.They also sell individual slices and sandwiches.

My new FAVORITE pizza place on the beach!My husband has always stopped by here on his lunch break, but last night was my family and I’s first time trying out Southern Shores Pizza, and we were not disappointed!After we did an escape room, we came in and ordered pizza for our party or 7 adults and 1 baby. The front desk woman was so very helpful and patient while we went over the menu and she was gracious enough to give us suggestions.We ordered 1 large cheese pizza for the kids, 1 half meat half pesto and another half meat half supreme. We also ordered a Stromboli and bread sticks and a large fries.Everything was cooked in a timely manner. We gave our cell phones for text when ready, but the front woman ended up bringing us our pizza while in the cafeteria style dining area (next door) … we actually never recieved a text so we didn’t clarify if their texting services were working or not, but she was kind enough to bring our pizzas to us with a smile on her face! She was wonderful and the pizza was amazing! Def the best pizza place on the beach!As we were finishing up to leave , a Camden county soccer team was coming in. They were accommodating to the soccer team as well even though it was getting late. We thought that was refreshing as many places probably would not have took on that many people on such short notice! So 5 stars all around for Southern Shores Pizza! My only suggestion is making sure the text message service is working properly:)Thanks and we will be back again soon!Kid-friendliness: Bench tables and TV for entertainment and bathroom :)
Ordered Chicken wings for pick up , they were large, very good and still crispy. The sauce which tasted like medium buffalo was on the side so we just tossed it in the sauce ourselves.

The most delicious pizza I've had in a long time! We got carry out and are staying in Kill Devil Hills. By the time we got home, the pizza was still hot and was delicious!! I'd highly recommend.
