This is a bar, and we were looking to grab a couple of pints of beer, and a bar named "Tap That" sounded like it should have a good selection of beers. They did offer 16 different tapped beers, but not one of them was an IPA. Most beer joints that I've been in have too many different IPA's (hazy, imperial, new england, etc...). A neighborhood bar with a great laid back feel. They serve local draft beer and a large selection of bourbon and tequila. We ordered in food (they don't serve food) and enjoyed playing pool (and foozball). Our pup was welcome and also gave it a thumbs up. There was a cigar store and lounge in the back.

We were trying to enjoy the obx on a rainy day and this place made it so doable! They allowed the dogs in, had amazing service and a great atmosphere. Awesome place, will definitely go back next time we’re in town!
