Great spot for Sunday snack

(Update) We love Pelicans! ❤️ Went back April 2026, the area had been cleaned and free from trash, the wondering bees from the local area had seemed not to be a bother. The snowballs were delicious. And the staff was friendly. The games outside are always a plus! You got to check them out!

The snowballs tasted fresh and ice cream was creamy. From the picnic tables to the lot games they have, the relative size of the building was awesome.

I do wish they would clean the tables off or spray everything down more. Move the trash cans further away from tables and games.

I wanted to leave 4 or 5 stars but I think the mass amount of flying stinging insects could have been lowered or prevented with simple cleaning routines.

I love Pelican’s. Have been going since I was a kid. I frequent this location specifically because of proximity, & I always tip. In all my years of enjoying Pelican’s this has never happened - except for twice now in the span of maybe two weeks. There is no flavor in half of the snoball. It’s not a clear/no dye flavor. Literally just plain ice. The first time I stayed and was able to just go back up & ask for the correction, but this time I left, & because it had only ever happened that one time I assumed i’d be fine. I’m disappointed & feel like I wasted my money. Generally a great spot with great service. Not sure whats going on lately.

Waited over 40 minutes and the line barely moved. We finally got our order and it was basically a huge cup of syrup. Super disappointed in our experience.

Best snowcones in town , it has over 100 different flavors, mine is tamarind with tajin 😋 yum!!

Snowy, just snowy, to be more specific, very snowy

On my last visit my daughters ordered two small snowballs and I ordered a kids size. The girl charged me for 3 smalls but still gave me the kid size. It would not have bothered me if she would have explained why. But she didn’t. And I was not in the mood to pursue it further. But for the record I ordered the kid size because I knew I would not be able to eat a small. And It should not have mattered because I had my 12 year old daughter with me. We basically switched what our normal orders would be. I will never return to this location because of what happened. I will also not return because of the smell of mildew, coming from the window when she handed me the snowball. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
