I ordered the veggie patty’s thinking they would be traditional veggie patty, but once we got home we realized they are cream spinach patty’s … not what we wanted , not as advertised… if it’s a spinach patty say that in the menu. Had to throw them out, and lost $20 due to false information.

I had dry food and was confronted by the cook. She came off as if she was going to be physical. I would not recommend this establishment if you want hot, juicy and on-time food. However, Christine(cashier) was rather pleasant. I would give 0 stars if I could. Sabrina

Years ago a friend from the Barbados made me curry chicken as a meal after I had surgery. I haven't been able to replicate that meal or find a place that matched it. Until now...Levy's Jerkstand at North State Food Hall in Selma! I got the cabbage and rice & beans as my two sides. Best cabbage ever! This meal made my heart happy. I will definitely be back!

Was at the food truck rodeo in downtown Raleigh and wanted to try the jerk food at Levy's. The line was very long and the place was recommended by people who were in lone waiting. We only ordered one item, the jerk/bbq wings that came with one side. And yes, the wing sauce was both jerk and bbq mixed. Not as spicy as a normal jerk sauce because of the mix with bbq but very good together. The wings were cooked well and still juicy and meaty. Came with one side and they had a great list of side but we tried the rice and peas. If you have never had it, it is rice with red beans with a little spice. We would recommend compared to plain white rice. The menu had great variety and we would have liked to tried the curry goat and brown chicken, however, we went to 4 trucks before this stop because it was the food truck rodeo. The line was long but moved pretty smooth and all the food was hot and fresh. Great friendly staff. Food was packed in closed boxes with silverware and bagged. This was great since we were taking it home and went to other trucks at the event. We will definitely be back for more. Very authentic Jamaican food.

Based how my service was today and the presentation of my plate I am not satisfied at all......I have a strong affinity for quality customer service and professionalism, but today wasn't what I was accustomed to......if new people are hired to serve food then they must know the importance of customer service and professional ethics.....I don't want anyone to serve my food sitting down or waking up from a nap..... my time and currency is worthy of good soil. Other than service to day the food has been excellent because the customer service was professional and the customer service was good.

Luckily I passed by the food truck in Knightdale at a food truck event. Got the jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. Excellent!!!!!! Highly recommend Levy's Jerkstand!

EVERYTIME! We order.... it's NEVER a disappointment! We've tried almost all dishes and sides. Recently were the collards! Delicious. Their plantains are always done perfect and their jerk meats are always tender and the flavor is always consistent and lip smacking! Also I LOVE that they have patties AND the CocoBread. I'm always met by pleasant staff and they're responsive several ways if you have to order online or by phone . From one island person to another.... trust me the authenticity will make you happy!
My husband and I discovered Levys some months ago. They have been pretty good except one mistake out of the maybe 8 times we ate there BUT tonight the food was so salty it is making our lips burn and tongue feel weird. These restaraunts are using salt to season their food instead of a little salt and SPICES to go along with it. High levels of salt can cause high blood pressure but people use it as a flavoring as if there's no other way to flavor food. Not good.

got the oxtail with rice and peas and plantains. Everything was delicious! The oxtail were so tender and flavorful, authentic flavors. The owner is so nice and I am happy to support a black owned business in the area. Will be back to try jerk chicken next!
