We went on a day with a limited menu. Ordered the chicken wings and they did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and joyfully interactive with our 3 young children. Great tasting food and enjoyable experience all around.
Josie was so rude we never got silver ware or even had the waiter come check when food arrived. Had dinner with no silver ware or ranch for fries when I asked Josie to help the waiter she snatched the receipt out my hand. Pull the video footage at 5:15 pm. To think we pay to be treated like dirt.
I live here. They cannot get help. No one wants to work. You can’t get good service if you can’t get help. It’s a nationwide problem since Covid. If they had help you would love Legends. Spray the patio if there are roaches. It literally rained all summer this year. That brings roaches. They won’t hurt you.

The service is great with friendly staff, though it can be short staffed at times. The menu has limited choices, but the chicken wings are good and meaty, the steak frites are fantastic, and the tortellini is one of the best pasta dishes. The honey hot pepperoni pizza is also very good. Guests love the stunning lake view, though it can be affected when the lake is drained down. The peanut butter pie is a must-try. With its beautiful atmosphere and great tasting food, Legends on the Lake is a memorable spot for families and special occasions.
