“Happy St Patrick's Day!!!! What better reason to spend St Patrick's Day enjoying some beer and some good food. The weather was absolutely perfect. The fish and chips were delicious and the chicken breast sandwich was as well. The sweet potatoes fries were yummy and the gumbo was a little spicy but good. Loved the pet friendly atmosphere and the staff were so kind and welcoming. We love this area and the people is the main reason. Great spot to stop to get a drink and some food. The live music is an extra treat. Thank you for having us and we'll definitely be back.“
“Food was ok, and prices seemed to be as inflated as everywhere else. The service was great. Waitress was friendly, very tentative to our table. The view from our seats had a nice view of the water.Kid-friendliness: Basic chicken tenders and fries, cheese pizza, corn dog or mac and cheese food options for kids.“
“We really enjoyed our weekend at Rumbling Bald. It was so nice to have the club house open during off season and also open to the public. The restaurant is a great size and I know it's crazy during season with that patio! Danielle and Collene were excellent at taking care of us. We really appreciated their service. We will be back.“
“We were pleasantly surprised that this place was so delicious!!! The sweet potato fries are honestly the best I have ever had (and I get them almost every time they are on a menu). The kids chicken tenders were perfectly cooked. My turkey rueben was delicious. The regular fries were also really well-seasoned. The staff was all very friendly. Really impressed with this place and will be back next time we are in town.“
“I've dined here twice in the last 6 months. Both times I had a dog, so I sat outside on the patio- and it is so nice. Beautiful views while you eat and enjoy your wine! Twice I've had the smash burger, and it is SO GOOD. Ordered the brussel sprouts on both visits as well, they are perfection. A lot of places toss them in a sweet and spicy Thai sauce- but not here- they use a different dressing and it's delicious! Today I did a wine flight, and that includes four 2 oz pours. I tried the Gruner Veltliner , The reserve Chardonnay the white blend with the GV/Chard/Riesling, and the Rose. They were all nice and refreshing. On my first visit I ordered a burger patty for my best girl, (It was her birthday, and we'd hiked 9+ miles!) and today the pups split a grilled chicken breast. They are super dog friendly, and bring out water for the dogs. We had the beignets for dessert today, they were delicious. If you are hiking around Chimney Rock, Bat Cave, Lake Lure, then I highly recommend planning your lunch or dinner here!“
“Angelique…is Amazing. We’re from Rutherford County and spent the evening in Chimney Rock for my birthday. Kris booked the tasting room for my group of 10, and set us up with Angelique. We felt like we were wanted there, from the minute the hostess greeted us. We had a GREAT time. After discussing our whole experience from where we stayed, to the different places we experienced and Burntshirt was collectively the best experience. Some of the places we went, we didn't really feel "welcomed", ( which is sad to be treated like that in your own county) but the staff knocked it out of the park. Angelique laughed with us , helped us choose our flights and food, she was on top of everything. 10/10 highly recommend!!“
“Wow! I can't say enough about this place! It's a must visit if you're in town! Best breakfast around!! The blueberry pancakes melted in our mouth! Eggs, bacon, BISCUITS, and coffee are top notch! We went around 9:30-10 and didn't have to wait for a table but keep in mind their hours.“
