“Always welcoming as soon as you're in the door. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I ordered the fried oysters and flounder. They were beautifully cooked, nicely breaded and served hot. Same goes for the fried okra. Delicious 😋! The atmosphere was great - quiet and clean. Lots of seating options, plenty of room for groups or just to spread out. My waitress was very attentive and I wanted for nothing. They have great breakfasts, too!“

“We had dinner here last night after a movie. I honestly don't think I've ever had better service in my 70 years! We had at least 4 people working with us from the main server, main cocktail person and several others. Each was inquisitive about us and acted as if we were their only table. The food was awesome. Best cornbread ever! I had ribs which were delicious and I supstituted the sides with no problem. My husband had crabcakes which were authentic Maryland style with no fillers and lots of crab. The drinks, an Old Fashioned and Manhattan, were some of the best I've had and I consider myself an Old Fashioned connoisseur! The prices are high but no higher than other restaurants. We are locals and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“The Sierra Nevada brewery is awesome! First off the facility is absolutely fantastic. It’s large but the building and the entire campus are immaculately clean & well kept. It still looks brand new. The tour itself was excellent providing great historical content & insight into their state of the art current operations. Following up the tour with a visit to the Taproom restaurant is a must. The food is phenomenal & the service is top notch. Finally, it was so enjoyable to finish the day with a beer on the patio. I give the Sierra Nevada brewery tour & Taproom my highest recommendation. Can’t wait to take other friends for a visit.“

“We LOVE Mike's. They literally helped us set up an impromptu wedding after our plans kicked the bucket. The staff is always super nice, helpful, easy to talk to. “Recently visited Zeke’s and had the braised short ribs on a bed on risotto with carrots, celery and a side of garlic spinach and yellow squash. The dish was fresh and delicious. Although I believe short ribs are supposed to be served on the bone. The dish was still very good. Very tender meat and excellent presentation. The spinach and garlic was outstanding and would have made a great meal all on its own. Highly highly recommended! Their Prime Rib on Friday along with their fried pickles are amazing!!“

“I have been to movies and shows at the Flat Rock Cinema. Every time I have been there, the staff is professional, courteous, and fun. They have made a positive impression each time. I have felt welcome and appreciated. The facility is clean and well maintained. The menu has a good selection of items available. A favorite is their popcorn. They have a program going right now where guests can purchase a “Silver Ticket” and it allows the holder to get “free popcorn”. I don’t remember all the details, but it is worth asking them about. I have also had the privilege of performing at the Flat Rock Cinema with The Improvables. The Flat Rock Cinema is celebrating 20!years here in 2026..! Happy Anniversary..!! If you are looking for a great place to watch movies, have a party, see a live concert or a comedy show, based on my positive experiences, I highly recommend…!!“

“Came in during the middle of a lunch rush, and was seated with the black guy, he was very rude the whole time and forgot we existed along with every one around us, I asked a different server to get his attention several times just so we could even pay our ticket to leave this awful dining experience, he then yelled at the young lady and I heard him cussing at several other employees. I am appalled by this behavior and definitely hope I never have him ever again- that is if I even return.“

I'm a 50 year, born here local... this is my 8th time enjoying eating here at The Silo at Horse Shoe Farm. So, this is not a one off, or a hastily performed review. I've partaken all the James Beard Asheville chefs for a while now...as well as any and all "new best thing restaurant" that comes to be. Nothing...I repeat, nothing in WNC compares to The Silo. You will not be disappointed. And if...if you are and you communicate it- they will make it right. You will have one of the best meals of your life.“

“I had the pleasure of getting to visit the Blue Sky food truck today at The Blueridge Beer Garden. Firstly, the service *chefs kiss* It looked like it was just one man doing it all and he was just killing it on all sides. I got the burger with cheese and a side of onion rings, and he even threw in some fries because he felt like the onion ring amount wasnt up to his standards (I came in towards the end and got the last order) which is something I commend on the chef for doing. Everything I ate was phenomenal! 100% will recommend to anyone wanting quality, quantity, and just good ole kindness in there life.“

“I’m giving lots and the store 5 starts as they had a huge 30 person group come in right before we came in. We were told about this and since we didn’t need to be anywhere we stayed. We got our apps quickly and then waited for 40 minutes + for our food. Since Lalita our waitress saw that we had been waiting so long she went to management and got our meals for free. “Had a great Saturday lunch at First Watch in Arden with a group of five. The service was amazing from start to finish, with great attention to detail and a team that really made us feel taken care of.

I started with the Morning Meditation drink with ginger, orange, lemon, and turmeric—it was a refreshing way to kick things off. I ordered the special maple bacon croissant sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bacon jam was literally oozing out of the sandwich, and I absolutely loved it!
