“We LOVE Mike's. They literally helped us set up an impromptu wedding after our plans kicked the bucket. The staff is always super nice, helpful, easy to talk to. Love that they're doggo friendly on their front patio area. Menu is tasty and reasonably priced, sundaes are legitimately the best ever (real fruit, yay!). Favorite diner for life!“

“Came here with my girlfriend who grew up in the area. Food is amazing. Pretty much anything you pick on the menu is served hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. I had a bacon double cheese burger and she had a grilled ham and cheese. Will be back everytime we bring her back home. ❤️B&K“

“From the moment we walked in Angelo and his family and staff made our family gathering the best. Our server Jacob was great. The food as always was delicious. We had a small family gathering on Sunday and they accommodated our party of 20. We are very happy with Mills River Resturant!“
“Great cheap food. Best biscuit I've ever had at a restaurant.... Bacon was a bit salty but that is a matter of personal preference I'm sure. Other than that great biscuits, but the hash bites are not good. Still overall very great place for the price.“

“This place in my opinion is the best of Brevard. The service is impeccable , the French inspired food is served in large portions, at a nominal cost. The chef is French, so that explains why the food is so good, do not pass up the opportunity to eat here, make reservations.“

“We came in for a late lunch/early dinner on Easter Sunday. Business was a little steady. Apparently they were having a waitstaff shortage, due to they only had one waitress covering a lot of tables. I think her name was Krista and she handled serving all these tables by herself with accuracy, friendliness & professionalism. Our meals were all very good. Thank you Krista for the great service.🙂“

“The Sierra Nevada brewery is awesome! First off the facility is absolutely fantastic. It’s large but the building and the entire campus are immaculately clean & well kept. It still looks brand new. The tour itself was excellent providing great historical content & insight into their state of the art current operations. Following up the tour with a visit to the Taproom restaurant is a must. The food is phenomenal & the service is top notch. Finally, it was so enjoyable to finish the day with a beer on the patio. I give the Sierra Nevada brewery tour & Taproom my highest recommendation. Can’t wait to take other friends for a visit.“

“I’m giving lots and the store 5 starts as they had a huge 30 person group come in right before we came in. We were told about this and since we didn’t need to be anywhere we stayed. We got our apps quickly and then waited for 40 minutes + for our food. Since Lalita our waitress saw that we had been waiting so long she went to management and got our meals for free. She was the best“

“The chefs are brilliant and inspired. The service is en pointe. There are bartender crafted cocktails which are absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is wonderful... these mountains frame this farm so perfectly. The menu is delectable in its options and seasonal variability. I'm a 50 year, born here local... this is my 8th time enjoying eating here at The Silo at Horse Shoe Farm. So, this is not a one off, or a hastily performed review. I've partaken all the James Beard Asheville chefs for a while now...as well as any and all "new best thing restaurant" that comes to be. Nothing...I repeat, nothing in WNC compares to The Silo. You will not be disappointed. And if...if you are and you communicate it- they will make it right. You will have one of the best meals of your life.“

“Yes recommended, BUT… We are just a couple of locals who have enjoyed coming here periodically since they opened to support local food and beverage and to see the changes as they happen. We stopped in today and it was the worst experience we’ve had there. We were just stopping in for a drink at the bar and since there was a seat available for us, didn’t think it would be an imposition. Not only were we made to feel imposing at the door without a reservation (not required YET for the bar), but after being greeted by the bartender with “be with you in a moment”, no one ever again so much as looked at us for 20 more minutes. Watching the obviously flustered and untrained BT look at a recipe card to make Moscow mules for people who arrived after us, we decided it was best to just call it a night. I’m sure we’ll give them another try, at some point, but just be aware if you’re not staying at the hotel you may have issues. Disappointing, given the considerable investment the owner has and continues to make in this venture.“

“I had the pleasure of getting to visit the Blue Sky food truck today at The Blueridge Beer Garden. Firstly, the service *chefs kiss* It looked like it was just one man doing it all and he was just killing it on all sides. I got the burger with cheese and a side of onion rings, and he even threw in some fries because he felt like the onion ring amount wasnt up to his standards (I came in towards the end and got the last order) which is something I commend on the chef for doing. Everything I ate was phenomenal! 100% will recommend to anyone wanting quality, quantity, and just good ole kindness in there life.“

“This place is great! Great bartender, great bar and I just had a Philly cheesesteak with jalapeños that was off the chain!!! Spicy and delicious. Been all over and lived in Colorado for 35 plus years with great Mexican fare - this the best quesadilla I have ever had…..says the 61 year old man…washed down with $3 bottles of yuengling.“

“Small and quaint; clean and calm old school place, a house turned into a Tavern. The staff was friendly. We did not eat so cannot rate the food but what food was prepared smelled delicious, we had a soda from a can.
We were able to play pool without interruptions. The pool table is coin operated.“

“You know how sometimes you go out to eat and it just feels… routine? This wasn’t that. Christopher completely changed the experience. He didn’t just “check on us” — he actually connected with us. The kind of server who remembers you’re there, not just your order. He joked with us, kept things light, and made it feel like we were regulars even though we weren’t. What stood out most was how natural it all felt. Nothing forced, nothing scripted — just genuine, down-to-earth service that you don’t see much anymore. He was attentive without hovering, friendly without being over the top, and just real. The food was great, but honestly, Christopher is the reason we’ll be back. That kind of personality turns a meal into an experience. Give that man some recognition — he’s doing it right.“

“They must have upped their game a bit because everything was actually pretty good this time. The chips n salsa chips were fresh and crispy and salty like they should be. Burger was good, some new items on the menu and most importantly, they seemed to be staffed somewhat as the entire restaurant was open.“

“Recently visited Zeke’s and had the braised short ribs on a bed on risotto with carrots, celery and a side of garlic spinach and yellow squash. The dish was fresh and delicious. Although I believe short ribs are supposed to be served on the bone. The dish was still very good. Very tender meat and excellent presentation. The spinach and garlic was outstanding and would have made a great meal all on its own. Highly highly recommended! Their Prime Rib on Friday along with their fried pickles are amazing!!“
