We were celebrating our anniversary and they restraunt acknowledged it by giving us a free dessert! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and great service.
Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. Highly recommend for a relaxing evening with a gorgeous view and hospitable staff. And they make a great old fashioned!
We always enjoy dinner at the Graystone Inn. It's a lovely venue on Lake Toxaway and the food is delicious.
Our food was good but not great. Service was outstanding. Their wine list had lots of variety. Our dessert was terrific!
We loved the restaurant at the Greystone Inn! We will definitely be back. Food choices are excellent. Someone in our group had several food sensitivities, and the kitchen staff was amazing as they informed and adapted for us! The ambience is just lovely, and the pricing is very reasonable! (Bathrooms are also lovely!) Well done, Greystone!
We love Lake Toxaway and what a wonderful restaurant to spend my 50th birthday at! All around amazing experience, surroundings , food and service 5 stars!
We love the Greystone Inn Restaurant and frequent often. This visit missed the mark. Our server was great but the food was average. The sides came out 15 minutes before our dinner...had to send them back because they were cold when our food came. Three out of four entrees ordered were disappointing. Hoping for a better experience next time.
Gorgeous view of the lake in a beautiful dining room. We ate dinner here on my birthday and it was fab! We also ate breakfast here the next morning and service/food was still top notch. Everyone was so nice and attentive…our dinner waitress, Michelle, was awesome! I had the cauliflower soup which I’m still dreaming of and then had the tuna poké for my meal. Finished it off with the almond Creme brûlée which was delicious!!! My boyfriend had the house salad and the Carolina trout which was also fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Incredible views and stellar service. We loved eating breakfast and dinner here and definitely will be dining here again the next time we stay at The Greystone Inn. Food was awesome and we just couldn't get enough of the beautiful views of Lake Toxaway. Loved their cauliflower soup and tuna poké!
Overall, the food was pretty good. We had steak, potatoes, and a salad. No issues at all. Service was rough. Our server was nice, but that is where it ends. Issues: Came back a second time to take our drink order. Didn't have our first order. Told us free refills on tea, but charged us. We asked to substitute fingerling potatoes for Mash. Told no problem. Bit were charged full price for the potatoes despite them subbing it. It took about 1.5 hours to get our dinner. That might just be normal, but an hour between salad and dinner is pretty long. Dirty dishes and glasses are left on the table. Dropped the tea and moved the empty glass off the napkin. Then, she put it back down and left it. Lastly, I ordered a margarita. She asked if I wanted Titos. I said NO. Hous2 tequila. Well, she subbed Titos. A Vodka Margarita. We plan to go back. Just not our night.

Inside or out is the question you are greeted with. Either offers wonderful lake views with the long layout of the restaurant. The servers and managers are Southern friendly and helpful. The food with 7 meals to judge is very good, ranging from just okay to excellent. A spaghetti squash wasn't fresh and a salmon with crab filling came prepackaged rather than chef prepared. Otherwise, all was wonderful, especially the flatbread, soups and trout. Every meal was served with a smile and a total willingness to help in any way. The wine list is broad and outstanding for someone who knows wines. Overall, a great place to dine for those who are not especially cost conscious.
The restaurant overlooks the lake, which is nice. My wife and I went for lunch. It is not easy to get to. The lunch selection was disappointing. Nothing special, well maybe the Italian pea soup, which was interesting.
The food was wonderful and delicious

Wait staff extremely slow and disorganized lost our order and didn't seem too concerned our table neighbors got their meals 20 mins before we did and ordered after ours. Multiple excuses when they finally asked if we needed a second drink and figured it out as we sat right there watching them come and go - this is a management problem I would suggest the impression you make at that restaurant influences thousands of dollars forfeited in potential guests at the inn as we were passing through to check it out another resort property in town and suspect your service is the same inside the inn
Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was delicious. Service was a little slower than usual but we were told that one of the waiters twisted her ankle on her way to work. Not much you can do about that. The wait staff worked hard to compensate. We are so appreciative of their efforts. We will be back again soon.
