Just happened upon this joint and I'm glad I did. My wife had the oyster stew and she loved it. It was made the same way she learned to make it as a little girl. Oysters butter milk.....a thin soup. We also had the Gator bites....delicious...I had the fried chicken lunch special. I am a fried chicken snob.....I thought it needed salt and seasoning but was still decent. Cute family run. Food was good. The scallops I had were very dry and overdone and doubt that they were local. The shrimp, catfish, deviled crab, hush puppies, baked potato, sweet potato were very good. We got 2 senior 2 choice plates, and prices and portions were excellent. There are tables to sit lakeside and a screened porch to sit on during warmer weather. Service was friendly and fast. I saw a well stocked salad bar and what looked to be local oysters offered in a large portion.

I have never had better seafood anywhere! Service is excellent with short wait time depending on time of day. We went at lunchtime but only had less than five minutes wait. Well worth it!!
